BLADE (1998) was released 28 years ago today. The iconic blood rave wasn’t even in the original script. It started as a human-sacrifice scene before director pushed for the idea of turning it into a vampire rave, creating one of the best openings ever.

One thing I’m really hoping to see in #SpiderManBrandNewDay is a great transformation scene of Banner turning into The Hulk. One thing I loved about the 2008 movie is how they really leaned into it. The body horror aspect of it all, with Bruce’s bones breaking as the monster is unleashed. I genuinely hope they give us something good. It’s been a while since we have seen the savage monster. Might as well reintroduce him with a bang.

Just now I interviewed an animated bear. We talked about the future of AI-based advertising with one of the founders of @AbotifyAI who came to the meeting as an animated bear. Yeah, like that. :-)
