Amish today, shit I seen them build an entire 2 story house (after the foundation was poured) in 2 days only remaining thing left was the kitchen counter top paint and shingles oh and one of the stair railings got broke so they were milling and making a new one but they moved in as they were doing finish work hell they had the cast iron stove in day 1 before the walls were even up god I miss them

Yeah, this isn’t possible now with all the regulation, permit requirements, land and zoning restrictions, tree felling permits, issues with environmental bureaucrats, etc… Good luck doing anything in this country without it costing way way more than it’s worth.
