Local media report the strike killed 1 person and wounded several others. Al-Da’ma told Drop Site contributor Mohammed Ahmed that the tent housed a family of four: a man, his wife, their young son, and the man’s uncle. Just 15 minutes before the strike, he said, a water truck had pulled up and the schoolyard’s children, boys aged 10 and under who play soccer there, had rushed out to fill their containers. Half an hour earlier, families had gathered in the same spot to collect cleaning supplies. “There is nowhere safe,” Al-Da’ma said.
