We Were Right About This Space $12.7 trillion is now moving toward tokenized money markets. JPMorgan Chase Wealth Management just released a document describing the tokenization of money market funds as a fundamental upgrade to the plumbing of global finance, not a simple technology enhancement. Coinbase CEO: Tokenization will be great for asset management companies “I think [tokenization] will create more demand for funds and products. I think it’s going to democratize access and reduce a lot of the back office fees and costs to operate that type of business. More broadly, this term ‘tokenization’ is the idea that you have an underlying asset and then you make a digital token that 1:1 represents it. The first case we’ve seen this take off with is stablecoins… that’s the tokenization of the dollar. That took off and is doing great. It’s a huge growth area. We’re now seeing the tokenization of all these other asset classes — this can happen in real estate, private credit, and the funds that BlackRock, Apollo, and these firms put out. I think it’s going to just create more demand for their products essentially.” The world's largest asset managers are already doing this, and they're building on Ethereum: - BlackRock's BUIDL fund: ~$2.4B in tokenized U.S. Treasuries - JPMorgan's MONY: tokenized money market fund, seeded with $100M - Franklin Templeton's BENJI: $680M+ on-chain government money fund - Fidelity's FDIT: tokenized money market fund launched on Ethereum - Ondo Finance: $1.4B+ across tokenized Treasury products - WisdomTree, Hashnote, Superstate, Amundi, SocGen FORGE — all live Tokenized money market funds alone grew from $3B to $9B in a single year. Ethereum hosts ~57% of all tokenized real-world assets by value. Source: Norges Bank (Mar 2026)

HOLY SHIT!🚨🚨🚨 Ripple is low-key flipping the switch for $XRP even before the CLARITY Act passes. Ripple is not simply adding two fintech investments. I believe it is assembling the components required for an INSTITUTIONAL INTERNET OF VALUE 👉ZILO establishes who legally owns the assets. 👉Ripple Custody secures them. 👉XRPL issues and settles them. 👉RLUSD provides regulated digital cash. 👉Licuido allows them to trade, generate financing and move as collateral. 👉XRP connects currencies and asset markets that would otherwise remain separated. The real opportunity is much bigger than placing one fund onchain. Imagine sovereign bonds, money-market funds, bank deposits, stablecoins and private credit operating in the same digital environment, with repo and collateral markets available around the clock. The most bullish outcome by 2030 will be a major government, central bank, global custodian or central securities depository approving XRPL-based sovereign debt or money-market funds as eligible collateral inside institutional liquidity systems. That would transform XRPL from a network that tokenizes assets into part of the collateral foundation of global finance. 👉Banks would need settlement access. 👉Custodians would need XRPL infrastructure. 👉Market makers would need XRP liquidity. Corporations would hold tokenized funds as treasury assets. Stablecoins and tokenized bank money would need a common route between markets. That is where XRP will become much more than a cross-border payment asset. It will sit between dollars and tokenized funds, national currencies, sovereign bonds, bank deposits, stablecoins, collateral pools and institutional trading venues. My bullish thesis is simple: 📈ZILO brings ownership. 📈Licuido brings trading and collateral. 📈RLUSD brings digital cash. 📈Ripple brings custody and distribution. 📈XRPL brings issuance and atomic settlement. 📈XRP joins the entire system through liquidity. The biggest outcome is not higher transaction counts. It is banks, funds, custodians and market makers holding XRP because it becomes operationally necessary inside a tokenized financial economy. How many people will understand what $XRP is being positioned for only after these assets start moving at scale?

SharpLink CEO and former BlackRock Exec Joseph Chalom on what the inflection point in tokenization will look like “We went through a period in tokenization where you had individual projects tokenized and everyone got excited. Franklin Templeton tokenized a money market fund called BENJI, then BlackRock did BUIDL, then our friends at Apollo did ACRED. So you’re going organically one fund or project at a time.” “What I’m looking for is some asset manager to wake up one day and not tokenize a fund but tokenize a fund complex measured in the hundreds of billions… When you see [massive one-time step functions], you know you’re at the right point of tokenization and it’s irreversible. So not individual projects, but entire complexes and asset classes. When that happens, there’s no going backwards.” Yesterday, BlackRock filed to launch two more tokenized money market funds. One is a newly created fund built specifically as a stablecoin reserve vehicle. As more stablecoins come to market, issuers are seeking reserve funds that are both Genius-compliant and tokenized to allow for 24/7 trading and near-instant settlement. The other is more interesting. And it's only on Ethereum. Unlike BUIDL, which was its own standalone fund, BlackRock added a tokenized share class to BlackRock Select Treasury Based Liquidity Fund (a $6.1B fund inside their institutional money market complex, BlackRock Liquidity Funds). The complex holds hundreds of billions across funds like FedFund, MuniCash, and T-Fund. The infrastructure is now built inside the complex. Extending it to FedFund or MuniCash next is a much smaller lift than what BlackRock just did. Chalom's step function isn't here yet, but the rails are - on Ethereum. Source: CoinDesk (Feb 2026)

Joseph Chalom explains why BlackRock launched BUIDL on Ethereum “I’m not a spokesman for Larry Fink, but he really evolved his thinking on Bitcoin, and I give him a lot of credit because there’s very few people in their 60s or 70s who have the humility to continue to be a student of the market and a student of technology. And he learned that it’s an incredible store of value and has a role in a portfolio.” “I think BlackRock and others believe even more strongly that tokenization will essentially lead to the democratization and digitization of all of finance. Crypto is a $2.4 trillion market. Total financial assets are over $700 trillion. Our clients wanted to know where we were going, and we led them along.” “We launched a token called BUIDL, which was a yield-bearing security on mainnet Ethereum that was interchangeable 24/7 with stablecoins and could be used as collateral in on-chain transactions. That became the largest tokenized fund in history — not because it was BlackRock, but because we provided real utility. The industry was missing real examples and use cases of utility, and we wanted our first foray into tokenization to be something that would break barriers and give clients more utility than what they had, which was that stablecoins were not earning yield.” BUIDL has grown to $2.5 billion, and BlackRock has since filed to launch two new tokenized money market funds on Ethereum. BSTBL brings the nearly $7 billion Select Treasury Liquidity Fund on-chain, with BNY Melon keeping the official shareholder registry on Ethereum in ERC-20 tokens. BRSRV is a new fund built for stablecoin reserves and the GENIUS Act-driven institutional demand for tokenized Treasury yield. Source: Thinking Crypto Podcast (Mar 2026)

🌐 XDC Network x Brickken | Institutional Tokenization Infrastructure In our latest XDC Network show, we sat down with Ludo R., Co-Founder and CRO of Brickken, to discuss what real, institutional-grade tokenization looks like in practice today. Brickken has already enabled $300M+ in tokenized value across 16+ jurisdictions, supporting compliant issuance of equity, debt, funds, and real-world assets. This is not experimental infrastructure. It is production-grade. One of the biggest misconceptions is that tokenization is mainly a technical challenge. In reality, the hardest work happens off-chain: legal structuring, jurisdictional compliance, and institutional onboarding. Brickken exists to unify all of this into a single operating layer. We discussed why Brickken chose to integrate with XDC Network. Institutional finance cannot operate on unpredictable costs or congested networks. XDC’s fast finality, near-zero and predictable fees, and enterprise-aligned infrastructure make it a practical foundation for real-world assets. The bigger shift is who is leading adoption. Early narratives focused on retail. What we are seeing now is institutions moving first, driven by efficiency, instant settlement, and operational clarity as regulatory frameworks mature. Tokenization is entering its next phase: plug-and-play infrastructure, institutional-grade standards, and real integration with traditional finance. Podcast supported by XDC Foundation

Know This With Full Conviction. In a post-Clarity Act world, Ripple becomes a monetary middleware giant - not the sovereign system itself, but the bridges between: banks → stablecoins → tokenized assets → custody → prime brokerage → global settlement → XRP/XRPL liquidity. Ripple now markets itself as financial infrastructure for payments, custody, stablecoins, and prime brokerage. Ripple Prime is the first global multi-asset prime broker owned by a crypto company, with 3T+ annual clearing and 300+ institutional customers. RLUSD is positioned as a regulated dollar stablecoin backed by cash, Treasuries, and cash equivalents, with NYDFS and DFSA approval. Ripple Custody is explicitly aimed at institutional tokenization, trading, stablecoin, and RWA infrastructure. The Clarity Act matters because it converts today’s regulatory fog into board-defensible adoption logic. The Senate Banking Committee is set to review the Clarity Act on May 14, 2026, with the bill focused on classifying digital assets and establishing regulatory guidelines. Ripple becomes one of the FEW “ready-now” institutional rails for compliant, global value movement. • RLUSD can serve the regulated dollar leg. • Ripple Custody can secure assets. • Ripple Prime can serve institutions. • RippleNet/Ripple Payments can move value. • XRPL can tokenize and settle. • XRP can serve as neutral bridge liquidity where dollar-to-dollar stablecoin rails are insufficient. Ripple makes large portions of correspondent banking, trapped liquidity, slow settlement, fragmented custody, and legacy FX plumbing ECONOMICALLY OBSOLETE where institutions are legally permitted to adopt faster rails. Ripple is today, the 6th largest, non-public company by market cap valuation, in America. And this is before open issues with China, Iran, Ukraine/Russia, Iraq and the Clarity Act are resolved. This is already world-realigning enough, and we still ain’t see nothing, yet. Two words: “Lock in.” America250 Ripple President Donald J. Trump

🌋 Warning: DTCC Just Got the Green Light. The $3.7 Quadrillion Monster Goes Onchain in 2026 Today, the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation received an SEC No Action Letter allowing them to tokenize real world, DTC-custodied assets on blockchain. This is historic. DTCC settles about 3.7 quadrillion dollars every year. It is the core settlement engine behind nearly every stock trade, ETF movement, and Treasury transfer in the United States. And they are now cleared to begin rolling out tokenization in 2026. This is not a pilot and not a test. The SEC has formally authorized a tokenization service for highly liquid assets including: • The Russell 1000 • Major index ETFs • U.S. Treasury bills, notes, and bonds These are some of the deepest liquidity pools on earth. Each tokenized asset will carry the same rights, protections, and ownership structure as the traditional version. This mirrors the digital twin model that Nasdaq filed for earlier this year. This is the first real path to onchain U.S. securities. DTCC has been testing DLT for almost a decade. Securrency’s patents, now owned by DTCC, reference multiple networks including Hedera (HBAR), XRP Ledger, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and there are already deep integrations with Chainlink (LINK). And this isn’t happening in a vacuum. The Global Blockchain Business Council has been building a multi-network risk mitigation framework with contributors like DTCC, Hedera, Ripple, Cardano (ADA), Avalanche (AVAX), Clearstream, Euroclear, Canton (CC) and Chainlink. These trials are being overseen by the World Bank. The framework is designed to give institutions a safe and standardized path to use public networks. It is the clearest signal that a multi-chain future is already being engineered behind the scenes. This also lines up with OCC guidance confirming that U.S. national banks can now buy and sell crypto for customers as a riskless principal. Banks plus DTCC plus regulatory clarity is the digital market structure that institutions have been waiting for. DTCC will soon publish: • Approved blockchain networks • Wallet registration requirements • Onboarding standards for institutions • Compliance and reporting frameworks We will finally see which networks will be used in production. This is the moment crypto shifts from asset class to infrastructure. TradFi is not speculating. They are rebuilding the settlement layer of global finance on distributed ledger technology. Tokenization is no longer a narrative. It is a regulated roadmap. Rollout begins in the second half of 2026. The internet of information is literally becoming the internet of value.

Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan: “Ethereum is the leading play on stablecoins and tokenization” “The community had gone somewhat astray and was in the depths of despair earlier this year with a super long technical roadmap and accusations of being ‘ivory tower’, and now they’re much more tasked on the market. I think they’re shipping better. I think the community is focused on investors. I think it’s their market to lose on stablecoins and tokenization, so I’m very bullish on ETH and own a lot of it — it’s the second largest position in our crypto index fund. Very very bullish.” Matt believes the market is underestimating tokenization in particular: “You have the chair of the SEC saying the entire market will move onto blockchain-based rails. You have the CEO of the largest asset manager saying every asset will be tokenized. And yet, people still talk more about stablecoins than they do about tokenization. Tokenization is a bigger market. There’s $100 trillion of equities. There’s more of that of bonds. There’s even more of that in real estate. Those are enormous markets. The New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, CBOE, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan — they’re all focused on this space. I just think it will happen faster than people think. I come from the ETF industry, and people were hugely skeptical of that as an evolution in financial markets. I saw the same sort of grassroots-level adoption there that I’m seeing in tokenization. I think people are underestimating the uptick.” Ethereum has 61.4% market share of all tokenized assets ($206.2 billion). Source: MR SHIFT 🦁 (Jan 2026)

My conversation with Rob Hadick >|<. As General Partner at Dragonfly, Rob has one of the clearest views on how blockchain is evolving from speculative crypto into the actual infrastructure of global capital markets. In this episode we dig into why finance, payments, asset issuance, and markets are the only parts of crypto that are truly scaling and how the industry is quietly becoming TradFi’s onchain upgrade. We spend a lot of time mapping traditional capital markets primitives directly onto blockchain rails and examining where value is actually going to accrue as tokenization, stablecoins, and onchain trading mature. At the center of the conversation is the belief that blockchain is no longer building a parallel financial system it is becoming the settlement, issuance, and trading layer for the existing one, while crypto itself settles into a more mature “capital markets +” phase focused on real assets, institutional flows, and sustainable business models. We discuss: - The current state of crypto as capital markets infrastructure and the decline of pure speculative narratives - Why finance, payments, and tokenization are winning while most other crypto applications struggle - The architectural parallel between traditional capital markets and on-chain systems - Tokenized assets = Securities - Stablecoins = Cash / settlement - DEXs & on-chain venues = Exchanges - Prediction markets = Information markets - Why institutions are moving on-chain and what they actually want (control, privacy, segregated markets) - Token vs equity: where value accrues in a non-Clarity Act world - The mass extinction event in crypto VC and why Dragonfly is doubling down on financial infrastructure - Stablecoins, RWAs, and the real path to “tokenization of everything” - Prediction markets (and why Polymarket matters) as the next interface layer - Sustainable business models and where value will ultimately capture Timestamps: 0:00 – Introduction & State of Crypto as Capital Markets 2:00 – Why Speculative Narratives Are Fading 7:00 – Finance, Payments & Tokenization as the Only Scaling Verticals 12:00 – Institutional Adoption & What Wall Street Actually Wants 18:00 – Token vs Equity Value Accrual 25:00 – Blockchain as the New Settlement & Issuance Layer 35:00 – Prediction Markets, Information & the Next Interface 45:00 – Crypto VC Consolidation & Dragonfly’s Thesis 55:00 – Real-World Assets, Stablecoins & On-Chain Markets 1:05:00 – Closing Thoughts: Where Value Accrues Next Enjoy!
