I remember Jim Flaherty presenting a perfectly good budget 5 weeks after the election in 2011. Carney is buying time. They don't want Canadians to know exactly how bad things are.

You’ve been advising for 5yrs, you’re telling me you don’t know what the books are like and you have no plan?

What are the repercussions for blowing past any prudent budget you present, hmm?

He claimed to have a plan. Now he wants time to create a plan.

We haven't had parliament since xmas.

I trust and believe in Carney, he knows what he is doing.

word salad. I guess Carney has no plans to spend money on his priorities before the fall, as it cannot be approved by parliament. He has repeated said we are in a "crisis". Good to know he is in no rush to respond.

Notice how he always points out that he’s going by the rules. House is due to rise.. he should have been in parliament within a week of the election when will he call the by election for Pierre? He’s trying to run their money down! When will he disclose his assets? Questions!

🤮

What a bunch of lies!
