Latest GFS model forecast of upper air temperatures shows the cold air moving down over us Friday and staying over the weekend into Monday but then Atlantic weather try’s to push back in with milder air but uncertain yet if that will happen.

Still windy and cool Sunday but less showers. The airmass forecast here shows cooler than average temperatures are forecast for the next 7-10 days with spells of rain also. I’m sticking to weather on this page but I will say that a lot of followers have told me they are struggling with the cold weather due to heating oil running out or running low and 500 litres of home heating oil has risen from around €480 to over €850 with approximately €50 of that increase being VAT.

GFS weather model latest forecast of upper air temperatures continues to bring warmer air further North towards Ireland later next week. Other models have a much briefer blast of warm air. Either way it will be a hot spell for many parts of Western Europe. Parts of Portugal, Spain and France hitting over 40!
