We'd like to remind everyone that @Dogecoin is an open-source project based on the code of #Bitcoin and that virtually all development of Dogecoin is done by volunteers. A small number of core developers & contributors also work here at the Dogecoin Foundation.

The Foundation is funded entirely by donations & takes care of some of the infrastructure supporting Dogecoin & works to make it easier to interact with & build upon DOGE with projects such as #libdogecoin & #Gigawallet.

Right now, we're working hard on #Dogebox which makes it even easier to run your own full node of Dogecoin, to accept Dogecoin, and to develop your own solutions on top of it.

Dogecoin started as a joke, but became the good (light) heart of the crypto community. Without any kind of pre-allocation or IPO, DOGE is truly a people's currency where everyone can contribute.

We're almost 11 years old & just keep throwing spare change at each other over the internet. Remember that 1 Ð = 1Ð Much wow.

@dogecoin How ironic is it that Dogecoin (Bitcoin, with a dog on it) started as a joke and actually ended up working BETTER than Bitcoin for fast, cheap payments? 😂

@dogecoin The Dogecoin Foundation loves Dogecoin so much that they want to create a whole different PoS alt-coin, that they control, and give it Dogecoin's name, Logo and community. 🫣 They're hoping you won't care that's not actually Dogecoin under the hood.

@dogecoin Me
