Incapable of writing anything less than a thesis about an all-time first trip to Red Rocks for three nights of one of my goats MARTIN GARRIX Red Rocks has been at the top of my bucket list since first getting into dance music. And when Garrix announced he’d be playing there for the first time, I knew if these shows couldn’t convince me to finally go, idk what would People always ask if it’s worth sending every night for these multi-night Garrix runs. The short answer is yes, and Red Rocks was a prime example of why. The reimagined Ushuaïa 2018 production was a masterpiece (shoutout to the legends Gabe Fraboni, Zis Ankone, and Andrea Voglino just to name a few), three different/peak Garrix tracklists (plus a new intro just for Red Rocks), the crowds were electric, and we got an Avengers-level support list (shoutout Mesto, AFROJACK, marshmello, and Alesso). The shows somehow kept getting better, especially Friday with our tailgate B2B, Alessorrix 2.0, and my favorite of the three Garrix sets As for Red Rocks itself, it was so surreal finally experiencing it in person. Everything from the view with the city lights in the back to the crisp sound (even being higher up night 1) to the setting as a whole came together for a perfect first impression. I wanted to remind everyone that Mother’s Day is especially painful for those who lost their mothers to Russian attacks on civilians. «It was the last time when I saw my mom and the last time when I was able to say goodbye to her. I saw her pressed against the rocks, and I only saw her hair. I stroked her hair and began trying to get out of there» - Roman Oleksiv at the European Parliament this year. On July 14, 2022, Roman Oleksiv was waiting with his mother, Halyna, for a doctor’s appointment in Vinnytsia when Russian missiles struck the city center. The 29-year-old woman was killed instantly, along with a medic and 25 others. Roman survived despite suffering burns to 45% of his body and severe internal injuries. Doctors feared he might never walk again, but he proved them wrong with incredible perseverance. Today, Roman has returned to school and resumed ballroom dancing and playing the accordion. The Text Me Back script is finished! 🥳🎉 This is probably the biggest achievement of my life. I have been through so much over the past year, and especially the last three months haven't been easy. But I kept pushing through even when it hurt because when you do, you make sure that one day it'll get easier. I'm so proud of this script. I've been writing novels and screenplays since I was a young teen, on and off, some years more off than on, but I've always kinda felt that my execution didn't live up to my ambitions. But this time, it's everything I wanted it to be and more. In fact, I'll say that it's better than I ever thought it could be. Of course, that's my extremely biased opinion, but I hope that you'll enjoy it just as much as I've enjoyed writing it. Well, that depends on the execution of the actual gameplay too, but I'm confident. I always say that if somebody else can do something, so can I. So, since the first Life is Strange is pretty close to what I want to do gameplay-wise, it's already been done. There's proof it's possible, and so it will be possible for me too. Now, I'll spend the next few weeks polishing the final episode. There are still some things I'm not fully satisfied with. Episode 5 is still a first draft. (I'll also share the final word count at that time. I'm a sucker for word counts.) So, after a couple of weeks, I'll finally start really getting into making the demo, and hopefully, this page will get more interesting as I can start to show things. Don't expect the world right away, but it'll get more and more exciting as we go. I promise. Thanks to all of you for sticking with me through this long writing process! At the same time, while they tell you “the economy is strong,” they’re dumping everything. 2000, 2007, 2021. That’s one of the reasons I publicly sold 95% of my stocks weeks ago. And right on cue: Everything started moving lower. – BTC crashed – Gold crashed – S&P 500 crashed – Mortgage rates are above 7%. Affordability is at multi-decade lows. Delinquencies are rising. Yes, there was a bounce. That’s exit liquidity’s last breath. Someone who never listened to me got ruined again. This confirms the thesis. Insiders are prioritizing protection over returns. I’m still holding long-term BTC, real estate, and metals. Those don’t get touched. But being all-in… especially in stocks… at these valuations? S&P 500 Shiller CAPE is near 40. Levels only seen in the dot-com bubble peak. I’ve been in finance for more than 15 years. When I EXIT the markets completely, I’ll say it here publicly, like I always do. Scottie Scheffler elaborated on the Bryson DeChambeau rule incident from Friday and echoed Harris English’s comments about Bryson always being on TV and camera angles being different to what’s happening: “No. I've been really focused on the tournament. I think that opens up a greater discussion that -- all I can really say is I think maybe we need to be a little bit more strict in the way that we are policing guys, but it's a little bit of a balance because you've got certain guys like a Bryson who every shot he hits is going to be shown on TV. “I’M YOUR FATHER!” O’Keefe Media Group EXPOSES secret ‘Alitas’ facility at 1150 W. Drexel in Tucson as well as ‘Alitas Angels’ located at 112 Park street inside old Bank Building in Nogales NOGALES — We just followed the trail of the migrant vans right to the source, visiting the Arizona border town of Nogales, where we encountered some rude and suspicious “Alita’s Angels” NGO (@alitasangels) workers who once again called the police on us. A volunteer with the American Red Cross, who wouldn’t give us his name, tried to prevent us from filming outside a migrant facility and kept sticking his hand over our cameras. Then, when we questioned a volunteer with the NGO, she said “I am your father” and stormed off. Nogales Police officers showed up and questioned us after Alitas and Red Cross workers falsely accused us of using racial slurs and inhibiting their movement. We tried to get the officer’s first name but he refused to give it. When we FOIAed the bodycam footage, we were told Nogales police don’t use them. A group called “Alita’s Angels” runs the facility, but they’re a brand-new nonprofit with no tax records on file. (We requested the documents, with no luck.) A WORKER with Casa Alitas CONFIRMED TO OUR UNDERCOVER journalist that Casa Alitas was getting federal money. Once the migrants were boarded on the bus, we got a head start to meet them at a processing facility an hour away in Tucson, but once again, we couldn't get anywhere near the building. The staff of the facility, run by Casa Alitas, threatened to call the cops again, but we managed to interview a local driver who does business at the facility and he gave us even more information. These “Alitas” ( groups are part of a shadowy network of secretive nonprofits funding the mass migration of millions of people into the country, without truly vetting asylum seekers' claims and determining if they are eligible for refugee status. Last year, we casually told our American friends, who have lived in Berlin for years, “We’re going to the celebration at the gate on New Year’s Eve!” They both stared at us, horrified. One of them said, “Celia, it’s truly post-apocalyptic. It’s like the Fourth of July, but a hundred times worse. You have no idea.” I looked at her, somewhat incredulously. “We’ve survived New York City on the Fourth of July. That was chaos. How bad can it be?” Oh, I was *so* wrong. To play it safe, we left the kids with my mom, who was visiting from South Carolina. My husband and I went alone. We arrived six hours early because I was determined to be as close as possible to the stage for Riverdance (and no, I’m not joking about this 🤣). Fireworks started soon after the performances ended… but not over the gate, as you’d expect. No, they were behind us. We had to turn around to even see them. As we left, I thought, “That wasn’t so bad!”—until we realized the roads were blocked and the police were essentially herding the crowd to another part of the city. “No big deal,” I said, “We’ll just walk to the nearest S-Bahn or U-Bahn station.” And that’s when the *real* chaos started. We walked, and suddenly it felt like we’d entered a very different reality. Fireworks went off in every direction. People were running through the streets, carrying fireworks in their hands and setting them off in the streets. Smoke filled the air, and the sound of popping fireworks was deafening (and constant). Every S-Bahn and U-Bahn station we passed was closed. So we just kept walking. And walking. We finally made it to Alexanderplatz, only to discover that many of the trains were disrupted or had intermittent service. Eventually, we made it to an U-Bahn station that would take us home. By then, we were starving. We found a döner stand that was still open and packed with people. I asked the guy behind the counter, “So, have you worked on New Year’s Eve before?” He smiled and said, “Of course. That’s why I stay open this late. Berlin stays awake all night to celebrate, and people are going to want lots of döner.” Wise man. *And* maybe the best fries I’ve had in Berlin. Or, you know, maybe I was just starving. We finally made it home well after 2 AM. My kids and mom were still awake. My mom, wide-eyed, asked, “WHAT is happening out there?!” And my kids were still pressed to the windows, hoping for more fireworks—two hours after midnight. Our legs were aching from hours off standing and walking, and I have a video of my mom hysterically laughing (which she would never let me share on social media) as we told her about our night and asked, “How many ibuprofen do you think we’ll need tomorrow?” In the end, we learned that New Year’s Eve in Berlin isn’t just a celebration—it’s a wild, exhausting adventure, where chaos, excitement, and a few too many fireworks make for a night you’ll never forget.

lando talking about how special it feels for him to win constructors’ titles after starting with the team in tougher times and their dominance 🥹❤️‍🩹 “i mean another one is just a great thing. it's another constructor feels the same as the first, because to get the first was quite an achievement if you still look at where we were just three years ago. we've overtaken every team in terms of development. we've outdone them by a long way in terms of development, and in a time when it's almost harder to do than ever, with more restrictions and less wind tunnel time, all of those different things, budget cap, that's really been more in our favor over the last five years comparing to the budget that the other teams could run at. but in a time when it should be more difficult than ever to dominate, that's exactly what the team have done and given us, by a long way, the best car on the grid. i mean, it's always a very nice thing to say. every driver that gets to say that always puts a smile on your face. but we've also done very well as a team in terms of drivers between oscar and myself pushing each other and delivering every single weekend. and you don't see that on any other team. so i think we're also very proud of that as drivers. but for me, i've been with mclaren since i started. especially it was a very different time and different place then to where we are now. so that journey makes it more special to know the downs because that's a lot of what it was back then to see the rise that we've had to see the teamwork, the changes, the atmosphere difference and the leadership from zak, from andrea especially, has turned things around and made us as a team the best in the world. and that's something that many people don't ever get to say”

YOU DONT LEARN FROM SUCCESS failure, on the other hand, is a great teacher (if you let it work its magic) we caught a doozy this week, with about 60 hrs of rework (I’ve had worse but it’s been a minute) A perfect storm of: -unreasonable customer -rushed precon and site prep -poor site supervision (on me) -poor training (on me) -poor outfitting (on me) -less than stellar execution -accident on site (spilled paint on concrete) Things that went well (this is key) -responsiveness and communication w customer -effort and attitude of site team Spent last night with the PM doing an AAR (post mortem) and now I’m in the shop on Saturday working on the team presentation and training, and I’ll be making at least 1 special Home Depot trip to add to our toolkit I’ll post the specifics on the training later, but these are the big organizational learnings that I’ll make sure we all eat/breathe/live starting next week: 1. Will never ever get upset about mistakes. Construction is messy and the only thing we know about each project is that something will go wrong - you’ll never be punished for doing a piece of craft wrong. Eg if you spill paint, I’m not going make you work for free for the 2 hours of cleanup 2. Site setup and cleanliness really matters; if we are going to be somewhere for more than a day - we need a trash can, work table, folding scaffolding for shelves, at minimum 3. The right tool matters more than effort. If you show up and you only brought sandpaper (forgot the electric sander), don’t spend 8 hours sanding by hand - take the time to go to the shop and get the right tool 4. Even if we have done a scope many many times, don’t assume that means everybody knows what to do. Review the project plan in detail beforehand 5. If things don’t seem to be going well (going slow; poorly; upset customer etc), stop and huddle quickly with your team and leaders to problem solve. Our entire organization is designed around making you successful, we are here to help What did I miss? What do you guys include in your AARs?
