Everything should be unlocked in a beta to test shit out. I got a smart meter recently and saw you can download a HDF file with the data so I had the idea of writing a script that could parse that and show the data in a useful manner. However I discovered that someone has already done this and done a really good job on it. The video explains how it works. In simple terms it uses the ESB smart meter data and shows a breakdown of how much data you are using and when and also recommends plans and estimates what each one would cost based on the data. The tool is available at easier to read on Laptop or Tablet or then your phone to Landscape.

mingyu teaching the members how to drive and even going with them to get their license 👤 who did you teach? 🐶 hoshi hyung, woozi hyung… 🍒 dino! 🐶 i think i even went with them for their written test? as you know, you get your license at the testing place. and from my experience of it the first time, you take the written test then the driving course test. but within that time, it’s too late when you get a ticket for the driving course test right after coming out from the written test. so i thought about it, “the members are going to take it tomorrow, but the timing won’t be too bad if someone gets the ticket for them in the middle of their test. so they can probably do the driving course test as soon as they come out from the written test”… i’m not sure why i did but i went to the testing place with them 🍒 he said he’d do it for them! 🐶 i did, i told them i’d do it so that they can do their driving course test on the same day too. so after they went to take the written test, it was about an hour long, i got the ticket about 40 minutes in. once they got out, i gave both of them their tickets and said they could take the driving course test right away and they were able to 👤 how reliable! 🐶 why was i like that then... but woozi hyung still doesn't have his driver's license! he only took up to the driving course test 👤 really? but if you fail once then you just think “i’ll do it next time!” and it ends up getting pushed back 🐶 its so funny, why did i do that? what did i do for an hour just sitting there?! and it’s meaningless if they failed! 🍒 mingyu has a lot of those sides to him~

When the trial started, I began working on this timeline to help keep track of everything as it unfolded. Somewhere near the end, I put it aside and never quite finished it. Recently though, after seeing things in the news, a few people who hadn’t followed the trial closely reached out to me with questions and asking for a timeline of certain events. Even though mine was still unfinished at the time, it already had most of the key information, so I shared it with them. That interest gave me the push I needed to go back, clean it up, and complete it and now that it’s done, I wanted to share it with all of you. I did my best to nail down the exact timing of events by going through the testimony of officers, experts, and civilian witnesses. When I couldn’t find a precise time, I gave my best estimate, which is noted on the timeline. Just a heads-up: you might need to pause in a few spots to read everything. The video was already over 30 minutes and I couldn’t dedicate as much time as I would have liked on every slide. Continued working on the ego-dex dataset, I ported the entire test set to Rerun and created a Gradio app to view it! Links below VVV This allows for a straightforward way to explore each episode of the (test) dataset and better understand how the hand-tracking and slam systems performed. I had to sadly reencode the videos to AV1, which took up a ton of time (nearly 2 hours of wall time for just the test dataset) Next up is taking this representative dataset and making it amenable to training. I'll start with something easy, such as pose estimation, as it's what I'm most familiar with, but the goal is to allow RRD Webdataset standard.

Day 8-9 of building an AMM. (repos in the next post) I added the protocol fee + the swap fees to LPs yesterday. It's the same as Uniswap v2, which is 0.25% (goes to LP) + 0.05% (goes to protocol) per swap. It was actually not that easy, as you want to spend the least amount of gas (CUs) possible, and you have to compound the fees into the pool. But I figured it out and in the end, it hopefully works. I don't transfer the fee out of the pool on every swap for the protocol, fees just go to the liquidity pool's LP token associated token account on deposits/withdraws, which I'll be able to withdraw later. (instruction still needs to be implemented) I still haven't written a test in Mollusk, and instead I started working on the frontend, for reason I won't tell you now... but just let me tell you that there may be good thing coming out of this whole AMM project besides just the AMM. So we'll put the tests on hold, for now. About the frontend... well yeah. This is the part I hate the most. I don't like frontend development. I'm not really good at it, and I can just get by fine, especially with Claude. If vibecoding was invented for something, it was frontend. God bless Claude for being a React beast. All I really did with the frontend today was initilize it from the solana template, and make the basic interface without hooking it up to the program. So everything you see is just mock data, I have attached a small little video on how it looks now. The recorder is laggy for some reason, so bear with me, but the actual site is fine, for the most part. (and also the video quality is really shitty on X, idk why) Just FYI, I'm gonna be taking a break from building this AMM for a couple days, and there will be less updates for a bit - I have exams soon for university and I have to study, and I also have to work on some other stuff. Maybe I'll stick to these updates to once a week? We'll see, I like doing it a lot so I might end up working anyways lmfaooooo. [And now] they're going to have all the ICE data. "And then, Trump has announced he wants to privatize Freddie and Fannie, but Palantir is going to underwrite all the packages before they come into Freddie and Fannie. So they're going to have all the housing data. And we know HHS has said they're organizing all the health, public and private health data, so I'm assuming that's going in as well. And basically you're talking about that data being managed and, and I think at this point, basically privatized into AI. "So the Doge operation, if I'm right, and this is my hypothesis, if the Doge operation did what I think, they transferred all the data. And, and, and they did it when an XAI announced a partnership with Palantir. And then the government turned around and Palantir had a lot of contracts with those agencies anyway. But, but then they gave them additional contracts, and so they have plenty of money, especially the ICE is going to be sole source, so you can just do pretty much whatever you want. So they have plenty of money to manage that data. And yes, I think they have it on a private basis. "And what's interesting, I have somebody, a professional that I work with who has for, for his business, has to do income verification. And, magically, two weeks after, Doge got the Treasury, Social Security and irs, suddenly the income verification service he uses announces they have 100% of Americans now complete data on everyone. Magically. When I am at the gym and I see somebody’s water bottle there or a towel or something. I know they just stepped away for a moment and that the machine is occupied. Out of respect I won’t move it out of the way only for them to come back and have to explain themselves anyways. This young lady on the machine left her water bottle on it because she stepped away for a moment to use the restroom only for somebody else to come by and try to use it in her place. Would you have understood the etiquette or is it just a free for all? When I first started working out I was unfamiliar with the gym etiquette. Some people just got done with a hard set and need to stand up and walk for a few moneys or get a drink of water and they use it as their rest period so that they can go back at it. Interrupting that process is the same thing as booting them off the machine mid workout. It’s rude and uncalled for but why does it keep happening? I think what it is, is that some people are very judgmental, they see others and think that they are more serious about working out than the other person so that to them it means they are entitled to use it first because their workouts are more important. I used to let them do that to me but no more. I treat it as first come first serve, if they don’t want to wait then maybe they need to avoid the gym during peak hours. This is the very reason I work out in the middle of the night most of the time. I rather not be bothered and if I need to take my time I can, most of the time nobody else is even there anyways when I go.

A 61-year-old asks Dave Ramsey when he should start collecting Social Security. Dave’s answer is basically: it depends on how long you plan to live. Caller: I’m 61 years old and I keep getting these letters from Social Security asking me what I want to do. I’m still working, so I don’t really need the money right now. I’m trying to figure out when the best time is to take advantage of the program. Dave: Well, the trick to knowing when to take Social Security is knowing when you’re going to die. Once you’ve figured that out, then you can calculate it precisely. Obviously, the longer you live, the better it is mathematically to take it later because you’re going to get a bigger check for a longer period of time. Caller: I was actually intending to invest 100% of it. But then I found out I don’t get the full amount if I start early. Dave: Yeah, you don’t. The later you start whether it’s 62 all the way up to 70 the more you get each year. But you can run the numbers on the Social Security website. You can look at your situation and say, “Okay, if I take it at 66 or 67, I get this amount. If I take it at 62, I get this different amount.” Then compare the difference. If you take every dollar you receive from 62 to 66 and invest it in a good investment, the returns can potentially make up that difference over the rest of your life. So if you’re going to do what you said you’re going to do take the money early and invest it. it can make sense to start earlier. Now, taxes come into play because you’re still working. There are other factors you have to look at to figure out what you’re actually going to net. But the basic concept is that you may be able to earn a better return by taking the money earlier and investing it rather than waiting for the larger Social Security check. And there’s another thing. When you die, whatever is left in that investment account is part of your estate. When you die with Social Security, there’s nothing there to pass on. So personally i feel this is one of those situations where I think people automatically assume waiting is always the smarter move because the monthly Social Security check gets bigger. But if you’re 61, still working, don’t actually need the money and have the discipline to invest what you receive, I can understand why taking it earlier becomes an interesting option. The part I’d personally pay the most attention to is the difference between getting a bigger guaranteed check later versus having actual money invested in your own name that can potentially keep growing and can eventually be passed on. There’s no one answer that works for everybody though, because taxes, investment returns, your health, and how long you live can completely change the math.
