33.3 Making a catch The act of making a catch shall start from the time when the ball first comes into contact with a fielder’s person and shall end when a fielder obtains complete control over both the ball and his/her own movement Not Out

basically shines the floor with it

Sorry but that’s out. Well it isn’t as the umpire said so but it should have been given out.

SHOCK!!! Aussies cheating yet again!!! In other news, water is wet!!! Somebody please tell them how the catching syatem works in cricket!!!

Same old Aussies, always cheating

Not out. If he had slid I to the boundary whilst in contact with the all it would have been four. The catch wasn't complete until he finished his motion. As the ball ran along the ground and his motion was still in motion, it is a drop by the law.

Fielder has to have complete control of ball and their movement Not like the ball bobbles around in his grasp Out for me

Easily a sandpaper gap between ball and ground....amazing how many cricket fans don't know the rules of cricket. He's rubbed that so hard on the ground I'd investigate it for ball tampering.

Starc knew this wasn't out. He knew.
