Awkward doesn't have to equal violation. Whether u have Curry ending his dribble with left foot down, or right foot, this is a very legal play as he is allowed to lift his pivot to shoot OR pass the ball. Left foot is gather step, right foot becomes pivot, he lifts that and passes before it comes back down

Fans calling this Giannis play a travel clearly don't understand the live dribble rule. You can take as many steps as you want while the ball is floating - just like MJ used to do with his stutter steps. The rules only limit steps AFTER you end the dribble, not during it.

Wondering about the Harden double dribble call? He was certainly upset, but we can see that the ball does pause while still in his control... just before he then loses control and dribbles it again. He could've picked it up legally, just can't dribble again.
