They can be so dramatic. A lot of them should have had some Gaba or Bupe given to them ahead of their visits!

My Welsh Terrier is like this but boy does he bite. My UK vet says he puts you in a false sense of security as he is so friendly then when touched just bites. My French vet won't give him his worm tablets (to come home) cos he was bitten once. We now hide them in emmental cheese
