As a southern Floridian, TS are not very exiting. A lot of rain bands, lower humidity, and a little bit wind. Nothing to be concerned about. Now a Cat 3 hurricane and up….. that’s when the real fun begins.

Get water, have everything charged up, put your meets in coolers, important paperwork work in your washing machine. If near the beach board your windows. But a tropical storm just take in or tie down your stuff. Lived on the Gulf Coast pretty my my whole life.

Plastic a duct tape, keep them handy. Also make sure your tools with batteries (Dewalt, Milwaukee, etc) are charged and that you have the flashlight tool that accepts those batteries. Good luck Puddin.

Essentials: beer, wine and candles. Maybe some water and TP. 🤷♂️

😂🤣 i freakin love you

Hopefully you don’t have any dead trees close to your house. Pick up your yard. Put away chairs umbrellas.. If you think flooding might be an issue pack sandbags, and put them in front of the doors. Make sure you have a full tank of gas.🙏🏼

Don't worry, this little storm ain't shit. I live in southwest Louisiana and this one ain't nothing but a thunderstorm compared to what we are used to

Water. Fill bath tub for flushing bottled water for drinking n pets i do food that I can cook on a grill. (Power outages) Candles or flashlight and batteries. Basic essentials canned food for if too bad to cook. Good luck

You get bigger storms in Tennessee. You'll do fine. But if you have to throw down, I want film! 🤣😂

Grab some beer, bottled water and fill car and generator with gas, it not a big deal, here on the Gulf Coast we go to work during a Tropical Storm.

Meh you’ll get some gusts and brief hard rain but that’s it. Just make sure you aren’t in a flood zone and good to go. But then, this is coming from a Marine who would go out in cat 4s drunk and raising hell like Lt Dan.

Be safe. 🙏🙏🙏

Tropical storm welcomed me on my first week in Florida. I didn't know nuffin..it was wild to watch. Lots of wind mainly. Then came Ian.. sit back with some sweet tea and watch how far your trees can really bend. Godspeed beautiful. 🇺🇸

As a lifetime floridian don't worry about it. At the worst expect lots of rain and maybe power outage. Have some bottled water and munchies on hand as well as flash lights or candles etc. Not much more to worry about, its not a hurricane and certainly not a tornado lol

A Coleman stove, propane, a percolator, coffee grounds and 1 gal of water per person for 2 weeks then some canned food but make sure you got coffee covered!

Get a generator

A boat load of wine!! Stay safe.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 girl u crack me tf up!!! Tit.s across ur forehead!!! Im in TN - but u know how we get shit!!! So im expecting some video footage of ur 1st experience

Oh girl I gotcha!!! Bread, non perishable foods, water, pet food, all important papers together, secure all lawn furniture etc. and if you feeling especially fancy get some butt wipe. Other than that just hunker down in your home until Bertha makes her way through.

Big Bertha is going to be a Nothing Burger, even for Southeast Louisiana! It’s got its parties in a Wad, it’s a Wobble Wobbler of a storm. It’s a, I Will Survive, kinda storm. Thank God for ol’ Windy Shear! Been through 3 catastrophic hurricanes in my life, so we’re good!

Good luck Puddin, Stay safe, Post us you venture to Costco. PROTECT those children like you always do. IMHO: YOU ARE AWESOME. Thank you for your postings.

Cash was king when Helene hit us. Water, ice, food. Candles, generator

Wait… what? Tennessee is getting a tropical storm? WTH?

This is nothing...just a rain storm. It's barely touching Pensacola

Lived through 13 hurricanes, no shit. Biggies - Katrina, Wilma, and Ground zero for Irma; no power, water ration for a week. Tropical storms no biggie be careful

Worst thing with be all the rain. Wind like a bad thunderstorm.

Water, batteries, candles, and put some buckets of water in your bathrooms. Propane for the grill. But really, Bertha is a baby. My parents live near there and are not worried. They said they are only expecting some wind and rain. Prayers for everyone in the path. Stay safe.

Stay safe over there.

❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

If it makes you feel better, these things are often over blown. But yes, go to Costco and pick up enough food for a few days and you’ll be fine.

Relax....Just a sloppy BJ

When the natives tell you they are leaving is when you need to worry. Your to Costco will be the worst part.

Wind & rain. Power loss. Maybe some downed trees. Careful if they are close to your house. Shouldn't be too bad. Most dangerous time for you will be goin to Costco. Famous Florida panicking Ol Folks storm saying, "Hoard your bread,,,We're all gonna die"

Girllllllll lol 😂 Look up some prepper channels and get to prepping.. Never wait til the last minute to try to get supplies..

Around here in SW Virginia people stock up on milk and bread in an emergency. Gotta have those milk sandwiches
