Strange. Normally by now there's someone screaming at the chap in front putting their child's life at risk, or at the very least, complaining about cycling on the wrong side of the road. Maybe there's a Millwall football match on later? 🤷‍♂️

Notice how not even one single motorist has had the common courtesy to pull over to the side to let faster moving bicycle traffic through? Same drivers will instantly throw their toys out of the pram if they have to follow a cyclist at 20mph in a 20mph limit for a few seconds.

I know. Some drivers are so selfish. Loads of room to the left of their lane, and they choose not to use it deliberately, to inconvenience other road users. Typical.

It shows that commuting is a lot quicker by bicycle. Everyone has a choice: the long queue of cars with the costs of VED, insurance, fuel, etc, or no queue free transit on the bike. They make their choice.

Absolutely no problem with the filtering. Why would cyclists tie themselves up in motorists’ traffic jams. Crossing the stop line on red looked illegal. I’d wheel my bike across it as a pedestrian if wanting to position ahead of the cars. Then remount in the clear space beyond it

Key thing I see from this is the decision (as a cyclist) whether you go curb side or middle of the road side. Can be a tricky decision and there is often a need to mix/match depending upon how the cars, buses, etc decide to position themselves. Middle of road is usually quickest

We should definitely be considering a ban on cycling east to west, or west to east, at times when the sun is between 10 & 25 degrees above the horizon, except for if it's a cloudy day. Easily considered.

We need to petition the government, so that they get the sun rising in the South and setting in the North.
