It all has to do with the inclination of the Moon, As well as the obliquity(Earths tilt) that gives us our seasons and depending where you are on the planet makes the moon appear upside down too. Your're welcome.

Good grief. The moon has looked that way all my life. It’s caused by the different ways light of different wavelengths (reflected from the lighted portion vs. the darker portion) travels through the atmosphere, to your eyeballs.

I have noticed this also. Weird for sure.

It is pretty easy to understand. My 10y old figured it out earlier tonight. You picture where the sun is shining on the moon and it would be similar on the earth at the time of day. What is more strange are the 3 dots like Orions belt right next to the moon tonight.

Anyone know what these things are ??? This was last week and before that I had a bunch of ball looking things flying around with green and red lights flying around over my house .

Thank god I’m not crazy! I noticed that about a year ago. I looked at every moon phase chart I could find and it’s exactly what you said. There’s a lot of other things I notice. On a clear night when the moon is rising after dark, it’ll suddenly just be in the sky. It will not rise from the horizon and go up.

I've been seeing the moon like that regularly lately. Also, it seems the moon is out in the day where I live in the uk . I'ts in a similar place as well, ... very strange . Stare aware and connected people.. The lunatics are on the grass.

This was from the Dominican in January 2024. Not only did the moon illuminate very odd but it wasn’t consistent in where it was positioned in the sky precisely 24 hours after the day prior . It’s clear to see it’s not cloud cover blocking the light from the moon.

Depends where you are, i left my country it was sideways, landed in thailand the next day and it was up down. We all see it different depening on the angle

I've been tracking the moon for several years and have noticed the grey disk recently. I've red pilled several with the moon. The Sun has been setting in the SW for months now, they're starting to see that too!
