Wen App v2? How about right now. Union's Testnet has returned ↓🧵

1/ Union is the blockchain of blockchains that's connecting Web3. L1s, L2s, rollups, appchains—all will be connected through Union. And now, Union's App v2 update is live:

2/ App v2 is a major milestone. It means more chains, better performance, and a cleaner, more seamless experience. It's also one step closer to the public mainnet we're all working toward. Which means it's time to test this Testnet again.

3/ But first: Why drop the 9? App v2's Testnet is the persistent testnet that will continue after public mainnet. No reason to call it Testnet 9 forever. Plus, it's cleaner. Don't worry—transfers on Testnet will count toward Testnet 9 achievements.

4/ Here's what's new on App v2 and Testnet: - New and returning chains: @burnt_xion has joined the party, and Sepolia/Holesky are reenabled. More will be added. - Refreshed UX: App v2 is based on the UI from with a classic Union color palette.

5/ - Performance improvements: Numerous backend upgrades have been made to make transfers smooth & reliable. - Live network graph: Track transfers in real-time, just like on - History: Find your transfers in the History tab.

6/ Note: Transfers to/from the Union chain have been temporarily disabled in order to test other networks. Links to faucets for connected networks are available at

7/ Keep in mind: this is still a testnet, which means there may be bugs. And that's okay. That's what testnets are for. If something doesn't work, the devs will see the error. In-app reporting will be added as well for edge cases. In the meantime, keep clicking.

8/ Also, sometimes the Union Army breaks other chain's testnets. That's also okay—mainnet reliability is more important than testnet reliability. See ↓ for more.

9/ The return of Testnet means onchain quests are back at Transfers on Testnet will count for Testnet 9 achievements. That includes Sepolia and Holesky—for now. Once the Ethereum community sunsets Sepolia and Holesky in favor of Hooli...

10/ ...these achievements will be merged. If you complete any of them before that, you'll keep those achievements and XP. Think of it as a bonus for early clickers. Also coming: XION onchain quests. a l p h a.

11/ To get started with App v2 and Testnet, go to use the faucets, submit transfers, and track progress with History and Explorer. Pro tip: transfers don't have to complete to count for achievements. Once the txn is on the History page, Dashboard knows.
