Went on a rant about cannabis.

It’s a plant and a personal choice. The idea that cannabis is a gateway drug is laughable. Anyone that’s had an experimental youth will tell you that the real “gateway drug” is alcohol. Every single regrettable experience I’ve ever had in my life has started with booze.

As I said in the clip, alcohol is a dangerous drug and can be misused. How does the fact cannabis is a plant make it any less dangerous? And as for personal choice. No it isn’t. It hasn’t been decriminalised in the UK.

Saying cannabis is a gateway drug shows just how little you understand about recreational drug use and drug addiction. If anything, cannabis is a way to stop people from turning to harder substances. Alcohol is much more likely to ruin your life.

I use medical cannabis which is completely legal, being offended by a smell is subjective for the most. I can go into a park and use my vape with cannabis and it's perfectly legal. The problem drug in the UK is alcohol, followed by cocaine. cannabis is benign by any comparison.

We are the 3rd largest exporter of medical cannabis globally. MPs & their relatives are involved with the companies cultivating it. Its been legal here with a prescription since 2018, its use protected by the Equality Act. It helps a lot of people. Alcohol is way worse. Chill out

Agreed. People should do it at there own homes not in public. But they say weed is illegals but iv seen people get it legally from the government through there doctors for medical conditions.

your anecdotal experience is more substantial than actual proof of unenforcement, i would rather have more people smoking legalised, medical cannabis than fueling a black market with higher amounts of unsafe weed. because people will smoke it either way…

Smoking affects others by its very nature, but if alcohol was invented today, it would be 100% a class A drug. There is an amount of hypocrisy where people condemn cannabis whilst drinking alcohol - a more dangerous substance both for themselves and society.
