Reed explains that the job of a board member is not to add value or give advice. It is to replace the CEO: "If the company falls apart, I will be part of replacing the CEO. That's basically the entire job. To have the confidence to do that, you have to learn the business. Board members are not here to add value. They can hire consultants who know the industry and are not conflicted for advice. So I shouldn't spend my time trying to give advice. So then what am I doing? I'm here as a board member as an insurance layer. Don't measure yourself by did you give a suggestion? Measure yourself by did you get more prepared for the small chance that you will have to take big action."

If you think a plane banner will make a businessman make a decision you’re crazy Changes NEED to happen and we’ve all known this for years Does that mean that you do anti chants about us going down and boo all our players and manager and board? It has been one of the highlights of my career to have had the opportunity to build and run the Texas Blockchain Council Council over the past six years. As of today, I am starting a new role (the company name will be announced tomorrow). I will remain on the TBC Board of Directors and will be going to a company that most of you know well. Also, I am thrilled to announce that Giovanni Capriglione has been selected by the board to serve as the TBC's new President. Giovanni was the first elected official I met with back in 2019 when I decided to found the TBC. He has carried hundreds of bills in the Texas legislature over the years including the Texas Strategic Bitcoin Reserve bill and many other pro-innovation technology, finance, and digital assets bills. His expertise on topics that matter deeply to our members will be invaluable. He will take the TBC to new heights and further cement Texas as the jurisdiction of choice for bitcoin, finance, digital assets, and data centers. Additionally, Jessi Goostree, who architected enterprise blockchain strategies at Fidelity and helped launch groundbreaking crypto products, steps into the Executive Director role from her current role as COO of the TBC.

I’m worried that the US government debt problem will get so bad that the US will “go broke” and I believe that there are steps we can take to prevent it. I am in the process of completing a comprehensive study about the mechanics of how countries go broke, where the US government is in its Big Debt Cycle, and what policymakers and investors should do about it. The study will be published later this year as a new book: How Countries Go Broke: Principles for Navigating the Big Debt Cycle, Where We Are Headed, and What We Should Do. Lizet cats pre-order update Good news. The first batch (of Sundara, the tigress) is being made at the new factory, where 萬獸天工 is keeping a close eye on the production process. That process will be a little slower than anticipated but in the interest of getting this made as good as possible we prefer to give the factory a little more time. The cats will be delivered. The entire project is fully funded, so no-one needs to worry that you won't be receiving your squeaky cats. This has been a little bit of a journey, and once more we'd like to thank all of you who placed pre-orders and stayed on board for over a year now. ❤️
