Thanks to the contract we negotiated with GPs in February, 98% of practices now offer an online appts service 8am-6.30pm. Patient satisfaction with access to their GP has leapt from 61% in July 2024 to 74% today. We said we’d end the 8am scramble, and that’s what we’re doing.

The report highlights that after years of worsening job satisfaction and burnout, doctors are increasingly having to take their own steps to protect their wellbeing and patient care.
