In NSW budget cuts are impacting the exec and SLSOs who support teachers and students with this. New skills and processes are not necessarily the answer to the these issues. More training isn’t the solution to every issue -however, physical & Human Resources can be.

Proper funding for all state schools is what we need!!!!

Is this a parody or for real? So the state of our public education is so bad that students are misbehaving to an extent that teachers aren’t equipped through their years of training to deal with them. And the solution is to train teachers to protect themselves, so who’s caring about improving student education again?

We've been doing this 'program' for the past couple of years at our school & none of it works while you've taken the real consequences away. The Ed. Department's disapproval of suspension's & expulsions means the students & parents know it's all bluff. They push over & over again

Could you roll a reduction in workload and meetings as well? Let's roll out the payrise too! I think teachers would prefer these options to take priority.

Anyone making decisions on funding or training for schools and teachers needs to actually spend a few weeks in classrooms with teachers. I guarantee you’ll have a better understanding on how to do your job.
