We're so cooked 🤯 GPT-6 Astra is automating video editing. It writes production LUTs from a sentence, work colorists spent 20 years learning to do. You describe the look you want, Astra writes a real .cube LUT file, and you import it into CapCut PC to apply it, adjust... show more

Try it now:

Say I want a specific look for a scene. Cold, slightly desaturated, crushed blacks. I describe that to Astra and it generates a custom .cube LUT. I download it, drop it into CapCut PC, and apply it to my footage. Now it's mine. Sitting in my project, on my clips, next to every other tool I'd normally reach for.

And because it's a file and not a rendered video, I can push it around. I pull the intensity back if it's too heavy. Apply it to some clips and not others. Keep cutting with it in place. If the whole direction is wrong, I go back to Astra and generate a different one. Takes a minute.

Subtitles work the same way. Astra generates a custom animated subtitle style. I bring it into CapCut PC, split the lines across tracks, and adjust timing, typography, and positioning by hand until it sits right. Then Edit Pilot, AI Edit, and AI Extend take care of the rest of post.

This is the part people are getting wrong about AI editing. The goal was never one button that generates a finished video. It's AI producing better raw material, and a real editor where you decide what happens to it. Astra makes the assets. I make the video. #GPT6Astra #CapCutPC #Seedance25 #AIVideo

Nice breakdown, the CapCut workflow sounds pretty practical.

WOW this is insane!

Incredible tool for creators, but colorists must be feeling the heat with automation advancing this quickly!

It's wild how quickly things are moving in our space.

wow, GPT-6 Astra + CapCut is a wild combo!
