Life update 👀 Today is my last day Webflow. I'm beyond proud of the work I did during my 3 years here, everything from designing & building Webflow University, helping create designs & visuals for our course lessons, making tons of illustrations for our keynotes, contributing to the new logo + rebrand & new designer UI last year, early explorations of AI in the product, and so much more. I truly leveled up my design/dev/illustration skills over the past few years, a big part in thanks to Sara Lundberg & McGuire Brannon constantly pushing me & my work, as well as getting to work along side of some of the most talented people I've ever met. I'm definitely going to miss my coworkers, but I'm also excited to explore some new projects I've been wanting to start. Here's a look back of just some of my favorite work I did at Webflow (but there's so much more I wish I could show 😉)

For the past 6 years I lived in Vienna and thought all Germanic cities are like this: dead after 22, anti-capitalist and having a retired people house vibe Now visited Düsseldorf and it felt more like Spain than Germany The center is full of people going out on Wednesday night In the beer houses people are dancing standing on the benches and singing The music is playing super loudly outside, nobody is complaining Everybody is super friendly and talkative I couldn’t find a bar that accepts cards (it’s still Germany), approached a group of guys and asked some cash I could send back via Revolut - we ended up drinking together and had a nice chat Germany is nothing like what you read on X So travel more - you never know what places feel like in real life until you see them!

thanks guys for trying the demo! this feels different from the initial demo that we pushed last year in the steam RTS fest. Back then, 95% of feedback was about "lack of tutorial". It made me sad because I didn't really enjoy the game back then and I felt that making a tutorial was pointless. this time, we still don't have a tutorial, only few minor objectives, and still got 10x more feedback. And real feedback from players that played a lot, some of them replayed the same mission many times. for the first time in almost 3 years, I feel confident about encouraging people to try Powerplay. And it will only get bigger and better from here, because I decided to finally end my solo developer era and finally get a partner to help me ship this motherfucker! If you have been following the development you should know who I am talking about 😉 I will announce it soon!

8/15 Even after all the attacks, the babies keep coming straight back to Punch kun… and he still plays with them the exact same gentle way every time 🥺🐒 Seriously don’t know why their moms keep going after him. One thing I noticed these past few days though, the baby group got bigger. Used to be a little crew of 5, and in the last 3-4 days there are suddenly 7 babies all playing together. Maybe the new little ones are the reason the mothers are extra protective and targeting Punch more? #PunchKun #パンチくん #IchikawaZoo #がんばれパンチ

Nick Ferrari put Defence Secretary Wes Streeting on the spot this morning about what the UK is actually getting from its relationship with France on the borders. With small boat crossings still happening, Ferrari tore into the arrangement. TROPICAL UPDATE: Invest #97L odds haven't changed the past 12 hours, still at 70%. I feel the NHC wants to wait until the Hurricane Hunters get a better look at it this thing under the hood. Considering this will be pushing onshore *tomorrow* in TX/LA, I still would have preferred Potential Tropical Cyclone/System to be designated so more tropical weather alerts and communication products could have been issued. For example, my sister is a teacher in the Galveston Bay area. She is under the impression she is going to school Tuesday (along with her kids) because a Tropical Storm Watch/Warning has not been issued yet. The school district needs that additional information to make better decisions. I have a lot of respect for the NHC, I just disagree with them on this one.

⚔️ Kingdom Come Deliverance first impressions ⚔️ Loving it so far, basically a medieval detective simulator that really doesn't care that you are the main character. Even the UI just transports me to the times with a bright colourful medieval art style. ▪️The MUSIC I love, absolutely sells the world and basically ASMR as you trot around on your horse through the world. ▪️THE Combat is a real interesting one, it's got quite the learning curve which I actually LIKE, it definitely has some jank to it as well but I really appreciate the attempt at an original and nuanced combat system. (Having to stop your bleeding with bandages is really cool) ▪️The Story has gripped me (19 hours in so far) And while it seems a simple revenge story on the face of it, I think the story is more about Henry making his way through the world after the horrors of Skallitz. The writing quality is top notch as well as the quest design also. ▪️The CHARACTERS are amazing and the humour is top notch. I'm not sure the last time I laughed so much at a game. Henry is great and so well voiced by Tom McKay This really feels like Warhorse Studios have put a lot of love and work into making an authentic medieval world and as a bit of a medieval nerd I can't get enough of this game. A True RPG as well by all accounts, the game really makes me think hard about how to approach situations. Also I can't wait to get to KCD2.

⚔️ Kingdom Come Deliverance first impressions ⚔️ Loving it so far, basically a medieval detective simulator that really doesn't care that you are the main character. And I'm all here for it. ▪️The WORLD is the real star of the show here and even though it's got plenty of jank and lots of copy and paste NPC faces, it just feels so IMMERSIVE. UPDATE: MADDISON IS GOING HOME!!! 🙏🏻❤️ I have an incredible update for all of you who have been following Maddison McDonald’s story and stepped up to help this family. MADDISON GETS TO GO HOME! Her mom reached out to me tonight and told me that Maddison is being discharged. They still have a long road ahead. The family has to arrange home health care, pick up her wheelchair and walker, and continue making their home as accessible as possible for her. Doctors also performed another MRI overnight and sent her spinal fluid for more detailed testing. Some of those results could take up to a month to come back. But her mom shared some WONDERFUL news: doctors have been able to rule out cancer, MS, and several other frightening possibilities. PRAISE GOD! 🙏🏻 Her mom also shared that Maddison has damage around L4/L5 involving a bulging disc and continues to deal with loss of function and significant pain. She still has a very long journey ahead of her, and there are still unanswered medical questions. But tonight, she gets to go HOME. ❤️ And I want every single person who donated, shared her story, prayed for her family, or helped them prepare their home to understand something: YOU HELPED MAKE THIS POSSIBLE. When I first shared what this family needed, you showed up. Because of your generosity, they are closer to having the equipment and accessibility Maddison needs to safely live at home while she continues this journey. But this isn’t the end of Maddison’s story. Going home doesn’t mean the struggle is over. She still needs home health care. She still needs mobility equipment. She still needs an accessible home. She still has testing ahead of her, and she has a tremendous amount of healing and rehabilitation ahead. So please, KEEP HELPING. KEEP SHARING. AND KEEP PRAYING.
