The bulldozers are still busy on the East side of the campus! Some shared the videos with the time stamp. Please listen and decide. Why can’t the Telangana government respect the court and give the bulldozers rest for ONE day? Also! The Advocate General in the court gave oral assurance that there won’t be anymore destruction. Telangana was promised Mohabbat ki Dukaan but got Loot aur Lathi ki Sarkar. Rahul Gandhi speaks of Mohabbat, but show Lathi on students to Loot land. ABVP students are protesting against the auction of HCU lands, and I fully support them. Instead of addressing their concerns, the Congress government sent police to suppress them. Innocent students were lathi-charged, hostel rooms were raided, and many were dragged into vans. Is this the Congress model — sell public lands and silence students with lathis? The land incorporates the Mushroom Rock area in the University of Hyderabad, near its East Campus. The auction was scheduled between March 8 and 15. Yesterday on December 16, a protest was started by the students which continued throughout the day and it was peaceful, but the Dean deployed Delhi Police and CRPF to remove the students from the faculty, due to which there was chaos between the law students and the police and the matter became serious. The DU administration issued a notification stating that "The Date Sheet relating to LL.B. I/III/V Term December/January, 2024 Examination scheduled from 26th December, 2024 is put-on hold." However, the students remained adamant on their demand to postpone the examination schedule. Later, the police broke the entry gates of the campus and started lathicharge in which some students were injured. It is a matter of concern that law students were treated like rioters. "Our college budget is more than your country's budget. " this is one of the worse statement from KIIT institution teachers. Where is the education gone ? This is not about India/Nepal or any other country, this shows how low education system we have , sad. You can’t give such statements to any country when it comes to education. 17th February, 2025: Nepali student Prakriti Lamsal, a third year student at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), was found dead on Sunday evening in the hostel campus of the university. The incident has sparked widespread protests near the KIIT campus. Students, including many from Nepal gathered on sunday night demand a transparent investigation. In response, two platoons of police forces were deployed to maintain order. Amid rising tensions, KIIT University issued a notice and forced over 500 Nepali students to leave the university. Nepali students were seeking an investigation since Prakriti complained about the harassement and torture in the university. Despite her constant appeal, University didnot take any action which led to the incident. #JusticeForPrakriti

WASINMI, OGUN: After speaking with students of OwuTech, Naija Confra reports that the incident began with a large-scale robbery in the student area. During the robbery, a cultist was seriously injur€d. Students protested, but were ignored and later pushed back, escalating the situation. (More videos on Telgrm). The robbery took place around 3 a.m., with several hostels targeted, leaving many students injur€d. A Buccaneer member was critically injur€d and is currently receiving treatment. Students reported the robbery to the school authorities and the king’s palace, but they were ignored, and instead, the police were sent to disperse the protestors. Student sources told NC that cultists joined the protest, leading to gunfire exchanges with the police (shots fired in the air). Buccaneers are investigating whether the robbers were cultists and have also joined the protest. Some sources warn that if the issue isn’t addressed, it could lead to a clash between students and indigenes, as many students believe the indigenes were involved in the robbery. While there are reports of the incident spreading to other schools like ICT, Naija Confra cannot confirm this yet. Stay safe.

Read her remark - “Students from the last two batches arrived in Jaipur to get their degrees from the Governor. We were asked to wear sarees with a red border; male students were wearing kurta pyjamas and black sandals. Students from all over the state, along with their parents, arrived at the venue. After the speeches of the Governor and the dignitaries, which went on for around two hours, only gold medallists were given degrees on stage and the rest of us were asked to collect ours later. This is why we got angry and asked the administration to reconsider, and when they refused, we chanted slogans against them. OAU transport system was near perfect, adequate buses and bikes, we rarely experienced queues until the First Lady came and decided she didn’t like the ease of transportation and introduced “change” by donating CNG buses. The school management in turn banned all motorcycles and commercial buses on campus and subjected over 30,000 students to just about 50 buses and a few tricycles. OAU has one of the largest land masses of any Nigerian university, yet students are now stranded daily. This is a Monday morning where students are supposed to rush for class, but they are stuck at the campus gate because of the inefficiency of the CNG buses. Students are struggling to go to class in the morning and in the evenings to even get back to their hostels. Students staying off campus now spend almost double to get to campus, all alternative transport means have been removed The management have cars to bypass all of this, but majority of students do not. Yet they released statements talking about how the buses will “ease transportation” and even implied students appreciate the system. Meanwhile, students are trekking, missing classes, and spending hours in queues. Let it be clear that students do not appreciate this system. It has made our lives harder, not better. What used to be a smooth system has now become a daily struggle. There are many pressing issues in this school, but they chose to dismantle a working transport system and replace it with hardship. Suspected EFCC Operatives Raid FUTMinna Student Lodges, Manhandle and Abduct Over 50 Students. Reports indicate that a suspected group of armed operatives, allegedly wearing EFCC vests, conducted an unauthorized raid on student lodges at the Federal University of Technology Minna (FUT Minna). [UNDER INVESTIGATION] An investigation is underway regarding an incident (with video circulated on various social media platforms) whereby a SAPS Constable allegedly assaulted a member of the public. The incident is said to have occurred on 02 April 2026, at the Volksrust Police Station. It is worth noting that in light of the serious allegation, the SAPS has instituted an internal investigation to thoroughly examine the circumstances surrounding the incident. In addition to the internal investigation, a criminal investigation is also underway to ensure all aspects of this matter are addressed transparently. The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) has been notified of the incident and it is expected that a parallel investigation will be conducted by this Directorate.
