Were you allowed ribs as a little kid?

Absolutely. I ate ribs all the time as a kid in Chicago and Sint Maarten. Stewed Pork Ribs with rice was one of my favorite dishes growing up.

If it was a tru bbq, I was only allowed to eat burgers, hotdogs, chicken, etc. On a rare occasion, I could ask permission for a chop beef sandwich. But never was I allowed to think about getting a rib until I was 15 maybe 16.
