The mom had to inform the teacher that was not true.. it is a symbol of fighting oppression, fighting for freedom, and was the battle cry for the Revolutionary war . Can you imagine a History teacher not knowing this ? I knew there was a systemic problem with some modern day teachers but I had no idea it was this bad. Funny thing is the little boy has a look of confidence on his face as he sits down next to his mother because he knows what it means and he knows his mom will stick it up the teachers behind .. 😁
