A school student from Wellawaya is currently receiving treatment in hospital after being assaulted by police officers. The incident took place in the Kuduoya area, where the student was stopped by officers while riding a motorcycle. During the stop, the officers asked to check his license, but the student explained that he had left it at home and offered to return and show it later. In response, two officers reportedly handcuffed the student and attempted to assault him. The administration quickly brought in high-tech machinery and rescued the victims one by one, rushing them to the hospital. A horrifying lift accident in Ongole has claimed the life of a 50-year-old woman after an elevator at Surya Towers allegedly moved down suddenly with its door open, leaving her with little time to react. Woman Suffers Severe Injuries in Dog Attack at HSR Layout; Owner Booked in Bengaluru A morning walk turned tragic for a resident of Teachers Colony in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, when she was mauled by a Pet Dog, leaving her with severe injuries. The incident occurred around 6:00 am on January 26 at 13th Cross Road. According to the FIR filed at the HSR Layout Police Station, the victim, Shalini Dubey, was attacked by a dog belonging to local resident Amaresh Reddy. The complainant, her husband, stated that the attack was so forceful it knocked his wife to the ground. The dog bit her on the face, hands, and legs, resulting in significant blood loss. The family prioritised medical treatment for Shalini, which led to a two-day delay in approaching the police. The FIR was formally registered on the evening of January 28. The incident occurred around 6:00 am on January 26 at 13th Cross Road. According to the FIR filed at the HSR Layout Police Station, the victim, Shalini Dubey, was attacked by a dog belonging to local resident Amaresh Reddy. The complainant, her husband, stated that the attack was so forceful it knocked his wife to the ground. The dog bit her on the face, hands, and legs, resulting in significant blood loss. The family prioritised medical treatment for Shalini, which led to a two-day delay in approaching the police. The FIR was formally registered on the evening of January 28. The case has been registered under BNS Sections 117(3), 125 and 291 against Amaresh Reddy.
