Since 2017, over £31.6m has been invested in transforming the Imperial learning experience. The entire UG curriculum has been redeveloped to include discovery-based learning, such as VR lab sessions, field trips, and even an immersive model of Mars 🔭

The new I-Explore programme, introduced in 2020, allows our undergraduates to study a module outside of their subject area and broaden their perspectives. Modules range from philosophy to music technology, as well as languages and economics options 💱🎶

We want Imperial to be a place where ideas can become reality 🦾 @ICEnterpriseLab provides students with masterclasses, co-working spaces and advice from over 150 expert mentors to help bring their world-changing ideas to life.

When it comes to understanding what works for our students, who better to ask than the students themselves? 💡 Our StudentShapers programme, launched in 2018, allows students and teachers to co-create courses that are impactful, and fun too!

We’ve worked to improve the fundamentals too – from lecture theatre refurbs through to mental health support, we want to ensure our students feel supported at every step of the way.

Imperial has undergone immense growth and transformation since we received our first Gold TEF award five years ago. We’ll continue to support our students and staff to help deliver an exceptional educational experience 📚🧪 Find out more:
