We've been doing fusion all wrong. Tokamaks will never work because they're inefficient and dependent upon random chance. Throw out the Maxwell-Boltzman distributions and shift to non-equilibrium configurations. Cool fusion uses lasers tuned to the exact ion temperatures and collides them. Controlled thermonuclear fusion.
