The Claude Code team gave me early access to the new version of Claude Code Desktop and I’ve been using it for the past few days… here’s what I’ve liked most about this new version 1- Panel creation and the ability to run agents simultaneously. This makes me think we’ll definitely see these agents working in a coordinated way, communicating across sessions.

🧃 Introducing stereOS: a Linux based operating system hardened and purpose built for AI agents. It's clear that agents need an ACTUAL operating system (not what people are calling an "OS") to witness the full breadth and depth of their capabilities while mitigating the blast radius of autonomous, untrusted actors. But there are so many problems with AI sandboxes today: * Going out to the apple store and buying a mac mini will never scale and is way too expensive (obviously) * Running in Docker is too restrictive (agents can't stand up their own container infrastructure, no sub virtualization, docker-in-docker is very broken) * Firecracker strips all the hardware so GPU PCIe passthrough, secure boot, FIPs, etc. is out of the question. * Native VMs are too fat and the overhead of 1 agent per VM is too much. stereOS takes a different approach: it's a full NixOS system that you boot and then kick off agent sandboxes inside with gVisor + /nix/store namespace mounting. Each agent gets their own kernel and the /nix/store is read only by nature. Even if the agent was somehow able to escape the gVisor virtual kernel, they'd land on the NixOS system as the "agent" user! Not your actual hardware!! If you want to take a defense-in-depth approach, we support "native" agents that run at the system level kicked off by our `agentd` utility. These agents, on their own, can manage and kick off other sub agents using the internal sandboxing mechanisms. Spark studied 4,516 tweets across the vibe coding ecosystem 13 research sessions. Claude Code, AI agents, MCP, AGI. 99.89% was noise. Only 5 patterns survived the quality gate. At Uber, design source of truth was a big problem for design and engineering teams. No one knew what the app truly looked like. So every week, a group of designers would sit in a meeting room and check that engineers had correctly implemented the Figma designs. Now coding agents have increased the throughput of changes by an order of magnitude. Keeping up manually has become impossible. Here we used the Revyl to map every state in Ubert (demo uber), navigating our mobile use agent on a cloud iOS simulator. This would have taken a team of designers tens of hours to recreate by hand. I’m joining OpenAI Codex to work on the future of agentic development! At Cursor, I got to see the shift from autocomplete to agents. The next step isn’t a better IDE. It’s an Agent Development Environment (ADE): systems and tools for orchestrating agents, reasoning over their outputs, and making them autonomous enough to reliably complete ambitious work. After chatting with Alexander Embiricos and Tibo, it was clear that Codex is the best place to realize this vision. The team has consistently shipped SOTA models for agentic coding (check out gpt-5.3-codex) and I’m pumped for the future that the new Codex App points to. What I’m most excited about is the broader mission: accelerating the knowledge work economy. It also enables a nicer integration with agents (Pi & OpenCode auto-connect if in the same project)... and other cool things to come on the plan/annotate side. Over the last year I have been taking a swim in the sea at almost every country we have been. From regular dives in Noordwijk, during our Island hopping trip in the Caribbean, Greece summer holiday to name a few. My early morning swim last week in #langkawi was by far the most tranquil and beautiful I've done in a long time! Strolling from the beach house into the Ocean and back for a shower before our day started was one of best holiday moments! #malaysia #beach #

day 23 of forking Paperclip today i added knowledge bases for projects and you company. based on Andrej Karpathy idea below. added a 'system chores' and 'agent chores' to manage memory. after each heartbeat run memories get added ('agent chores') and every 4 hours memeries get managed. This is in a db with an API for all agents to use and is seperated form the agents memeroes which they get at instantiation time.
