As part of the demonstration mission, the @IPFS white paper and an image of Biscuit, the “FileCorgi,” were transmitted from Earth to an orbiting satellite and back using @LMSpace's SmartSat software platform.

With @IPFS, data doesn’t need to go back and forth from Earth every time. Instead, IPFS retrieves content from wherever is closest—rather than retrieving content from a particular server in a particular place.
