College football is no longer college football. It's semi-pro ball. Maybe in the future NFL teams will adopt programs as minor league affiliates like MLB does.

It’s crazy how they can just run to the courts and bypass the rules.

so if a player returns to college after having been drafted or signed by a team, does that Pro team retain rights next year? Does the player reenter the draft?

How in the world is the @NCAA going to suspend Arion Carter two games while we have signed, NFL players coming back without penalty!? How is that possible?

Yes I get leery whenever Congress gets involved in the finer workings of things; however~ When things have gotten so out of control, that the agreed upon governing body of a sport gets sued and loses every time. Maybe the "Protect College Sports Act" is now a necessary measure.

I completely agree. If the extra year is going to help you get a degree or even improve your draft stock then you should have stayed in school. Coming back after being in an NFL camp definitely gives off quitter vibes along with a lack of preparation during your college years.
