There’s an impressive piece of engineering sitting inside Emirates Stadium, and it’s not quite what you’d expect. To mark 20 years of the Emirates x Arsenal partnership, Emirates Engineering has built a 2.4m crest from 84 upcycled A380 and Boeing 777 parts. The cannon wheel is an A380 wheel hub. The barrel is a titanium air duct. The lettering is made from aircraft windows. It weighs 700kg. And as impressive as the finished piece is, I suspect some of the best stories are going to come from the people who actually built it.

These apps need to be stopped 😭 1 alarms app is printing $200k/mo And its so simple I literally cloned the exact same app in 5 minutes with Fable 5 + higgsfield mcp to create all the visuals they have a UGC army of 5 - 10 spamming the same viral format the marketing is easy, the building is easy. im not saying to go clone an app, im telling you to go make an app theres no excuse i retired my mom and my wife from building apps, it works and you are still early The time is now get to building.

So... Vertical tabs are out in Chrome. I thought it would make me switch back to it, I really thought it was the one thing I needed in Chrome. I currently use Dia , but here's the thing. In comparison, the implementation of vertical tabs in Chrome is just awful. It barely changed since I saw it in beta. I thought it would greatly improve during the beta phase, but it did not. So here's everything I dislike about it compared to Dia: 1. It's super laggy. 2. When collapsed, the sidebar moves down, meaning the position of the expand/collapse button shifts down too, making it much harder to find. (I ironically couldn't find the first few seconds of the video specifically because of that) 3. No keyboard shortcut to expand/collapse. 4. Collapsed doesn't move the tabs out of view, they are just tiny. 5. The amount of tabs per line in the grid of pinned tabs is not adjusted depending on the number of tabs. 6. In collapsed mode, all the pinned tabs are now in a column, which can push the actual tabs quite far down. ----- It's just awful. It was built into Chrome as a way to just say "hey we also have vertical tabs!" But the UX is simply awful. This has to be the worst implementation of vertical tabs I've seen so far yet, sadly. For comparison, I'm also showing how Dia handles vertical tabs.

A playable Fortnite took Epic Games 300 people and 6 years. Claude Fable 5 just built one from several sentences. Many people still don't understand how powerful this model really is. We've already seen it build a Minecraft-style game from a single prompt in the browser. This is the next step: a Fortnite-style shooter. Third-person camera, weapon switching, a pickaxe, health and shield bars, a hotbar, buildings scattered across an open map — even the stylized sunset sky. One prompt started it. From there, it writes the code, runs the prototype, sees what breaks, fixes it, and keeps iterating until the thing is actually playable. What makes this interesting isn't that a game can be built. It's how little input is needed to get the process started. A sentence in. A working game out. The gap between an idea and a playable game is closing faster than most people realize.
