Whale evolution is the best argument against macroevolution. Don’t attempt to refute it. Just point and laugh. 😆

I like how they go from a fish to some rat/dog thing and we’re just supposed to accept that it happened.

Because the spine moves the same way, duh! Notice how they don’t explain how an animal went from mouth breathing to breathing through a retractable hole in its back?

Profilbild von Grover Cleveland
Grover Clevelandvor 3 Monaten

@JesusMetal1689 I was wondering that as well. Turns out it’s not the back, the whales heads are just very long, and it’s the nose

Profilbild von Defiant Baptist
Defiant Baptistvor 3 Monaten

@JesusMetal1689 Its “nose” is an independent airway, the only way it can breathe. It remains closed at rest. That’s completely different from the mammals you suggest are its ancestors.

Yes, homology in vertebrate limbs is a well known “icon” of evolution.

The existence of transpecies homology at all suggests common ancestors.

Did you watch the video I sent you? You’re making a circular argument.

I am currently in roaming in the Philippines. Video costs me extra. 😆 But, give me your argument and I can show you either a circle or an unnecessary presupposition.

Profilbild von Defiant Baptist
Defiant Baptistvor 3 Monaten

Simply put, you’re defining homology in terms of common ancestry and then using it as proof of common ancestry. That is circular reasoning. Homology is evidence of common design and a Designer, nothing more.

Profilbild von Gaius Americanus 🇻🇦
Gaius Americanus 🇻🇦vor 3 Monaten

I do not think so. In homology, hypotheses are derived using structural correspondence, developmental pathways, and shared genetic sequences (e.g., Hox genes), not by first assuming common ancestry. Research Biologists can test whether the pattern fits a nested hierarchy consistent with descent. I remember a Baptist version of me in 2006 being made to watch a video by some elderly preacher about evolution. I think Gish was his name. These lectures featured him naming so many objections sequentially so quickly that one could not answer them all. It took him a minute to make a claim and it took me hours in the library to realize he was wrong. A small part of the story of me losing my faith as a teenager. I was not a Neuroscience Researcher for that long, but I do know that getting sucked into a circular proof pattern can happen. We used to spend hour or more lab meetings testing chairs of logic to ensure that tests were actually proving or disproving the hypothesis.

The evolutionists see the problem actually, and it’s demonstrated in the video I sent. Take a look when you get to a better signal!

"Macro" evolution, as defined by scientists, is evolving into a different species. This is not only accepted by every major creationists group, but they use it as a cope for the fact that you can't fit 2 of every species on a 300 cubit boat

Sincere question, how do you believe whales came about? Did God create whales on the fifth day- and those are the same whales of today?

Profilbild von Defiant Baptist

The whale kinds were created along with the fish kinds and bird kinds, all on the same day. And no, they changed considerably over time…but whales remained whales, fish remained fish, etc.

Not really, if some individuals can thrive in the water, it naturally becomes a place where those groups would specialize to fill the gap in the ecosystem

Why point and laugh? If your habitat changes from plains to swamp to wetland to sunken coasts and finally to open ocean over millions of years it becomes a natural progression.
