The physical force felt by a room full of people chanting is overwhelming. It vibrates your whole body.

A free "biohack" using physics (sound frequency + resonance) to directly influence your brain chemistry and nervous system — no spirituality required, though it's long used in meditation. What 60 seconds of humming does to your brain and body.

This is called Bhramari pranayam. Bhramari and Anulom Vilom are part of "Nadi Shodhan". A standard practice before meditation.

This is the bext explanation for what is physically happening durring meditation.

Now I understand why I hummed through an entire ayahuasca ceremony🤩🙏💛

This is real and before I knew how to calm my vegas nerve I had already been doing it. Like as a self soothing since I was able to make that noise. Crazy but so cool!

Chu, we are doing this since 1000 years this while meditating and saying "Om". Now westerners arr trying to hijack it by removing "Om"

This explains why my heart stopped beating fast from adrenaline after taking edibles just laying there having a panic attack. I did the ohm sound and my heartbeat went back to normal. All makes sense now.

Humming also slows your breathing and increases C02. It's similar to breathing into a paper bag.

@NetworksManager @grok - what’s the validity of this?

Now you are saying what indian Hindus said for 1000s of years to chant Om every morning and evening and you western cults mocked us. @Voiceofhindus @tathvamasi6

It would be better to post about Bhramri Pranayam than this western appropriation shit as you are a Indic centered page.

@fxretracer You're gonna relate to this...

Man go and learn the recitation rules of the Qur'an and you will be astonished to know about the nasal sounds and other sounds....it will blow your mind 😉

No true, Richard Feynman never discussed humming. No-one used language like hacking in the 1960s

It’s called Bhramari Pranayama (Bee Breath). It’s known to Yogis for thousands of years.
