It goes beyond beautiful melodically — it’s one of the finest songs ever produced. And the lyrics still resonate today just as powerfully as they always have. That line about exchanging a walk‑on part in the war for a lead role in a cage captures the whole struggle: you can choose a small, honest part in something real, meaningful and full of integrity, or you can sell out for the bigger role inside the cage — the commercial constraints, the record‑industry machine, the thing that looks powerful but actually holds you back and owns you. Pink Floyd nailed that tension better than almost anyone.

Wish you were here. De Roger Waters

Was never a big PF fan,but this song I like. “Wish you were here”is likely something we’ve all said when apart from the one we love.
