Somebody might want to tell CBC that the anti-oil pipeline Pembina Institute is not the same as Pembina Resources... that is in for 10% of the new Alberta pipeline to the BC coast 🤣 "Pembina Institute, a private company, is partnering with the Alberta government and the federally owned Trans Mountain Corporation for construction of the pipeline, a move experts say helps with the enormous price tag, estimated to be up to $43.7 billion." "We do not have the authority to stop a new pipeline, we will not be going to court to fight a pipeline project." BC Premier David Eby says the province will not be going to court to fight a pipeline project coming from Alberta, adding that pipelines a federal jurisdiction. Says deal will ensure BC is compensated for environmental risks if a pipeline goes ahead.

It builds on the momentum we’re seeing not just with the West Coast Oil Pipeline, but also Enbridge, Trans mountain, South Bow, Pembina, and Atco who are all advancing other pipeline expansions and new projects. 🌹🛢️🚢 : Liberals are now omitting the word pipeline from MoU & fast tracked major projects under Bill C-5, for Alberta. I guess Mark Carney's meeting with Danielle Smith & David Eby did not go well for pro pipeline projects. So why is there no discussion about the Energy East pipeline? If the BC North Coast is off limits to pipelines and oil tankers certainly the East Coast of Canada is not. After all the East Coast brings in tankers from the Middle East, Europe & even oil from land locked nations like Azerbaijan to fuel Eastern Provinces & Quebec.
