Half of Boomers forgot the critical thinking skills the Greatest Generation taught them, then half of Gen X forgot the critical thinking skills half of the Boomers taught them, then when the Millennials came along there was nothing left.

Yes, “critical thinking” does direct people to express personal opinions, elaborated from the available sources. That creates a huge mass of people who acts like a judge but a “moral” one. Especially young ones and imposters. It gives them the impression of being superior.
