What a HORRIBLE forecast by meteorologists – especially myself. Not only were we spectacularly wrong – we communicated poorly. It became apparent last night that some of our initial expectations would prove fallacious. I'd like to address what went wrong with our forecast:

In order to move forward peacefully, “let the left say, ‘We were wrong. It is legitimate to vote for Donald Trump. It is legitimate to be pro-life. It is legitimate to believe that there are only two genders. And we were wrong to suggest that that is not the case. We were wrong to say that that is hateful.’ When they say that, I am waiting with open arms to take down the temperature.” Please listen to the whole thing. She nails perfectly what I’m thinking. What so many of us are thinking and feeling.

This is what we were faced with last night. Apparently raising OUR flag is inciting hate…what a delightful gentleman from the local tattoo parlour. We remained calm throughout, the only people causing an issue & spreading HATE were people like this man.

So we had no option but to begin (a hunger strike) from Ladakh Bhavan where we are virtually detained... The assurance that we were given to meet the top leadership of the country, we haven't been given any dates for that so we were forced to start our hunger strike again which we broke on Rajghat... Our appeal has always been the same - after walking for 30 to 32 days, we have come here and would like to meet some of the top leaders of our country in the capital to share our grievances with them... I am not asking for support from anyone. We welcome those who understand what is happening in India, what is happening with Ladakh, and what our rights are."
