What a miserable way of commuting driving is. Imagine going through this everyday when there is a faster and more efficient way of travel available. If only Galway city council had the will to build safe active travel infrastructure instead making the lives of drivers a misery.

I can't understand how traffic congestion in Galway isn't by far the biggest issue in the minds of the council. There are thousands of cities with larger populations, but Galway city is the 16th most congested city IN THE WORLD!! It's insane.

Don't worry. They have a plan that has never worked anywhere in the world before but will surely work this time because Galway is different.

Waiting for the comments about filtering, can you get a fridge on it, only 1 in a million ppl cycle in the rain, cycle lanes will make it worse........

Disappointed so far. Perhaps I've confused them by showing empathy towards drivers and they don't know how to respond.

Oh please this is terrible. Terrible. And while the city of Galway fathers and mothers are creating some safe infrastructure a nice bit of curb (kerb) between you and those cars too and some bollards please . And thank you.

You're not cycling. We can hear the electric motor. Your vehicle is just smaller than ours. Good for you. I am dry. Warm. I've got the radio on. I have a nice hot coffee here, I'm not late, and I won't have to change when I get there. If your way works for you, great. We're good.

Can you get tools and materials on that bike, not everyone can.

Yes. It's a cargo bike. It's why I bought it.
