Ryan: It’s a disgrace that Republicans are leaving Congress in the middle of what is an unlawful and dangerous war. Trump, yet they’re willing to plant doubt in the chain of command and drag the military into their politics. Our service members deserve better than to be used as props by people who wore the same uniform and should know the damage this causes.

As a retired Combat Veteran, the words of these 6 politicians are sedition in its most obvious form. (18 U.S.C -2387) Sedition covers ~ knowingly " Urging-Advising- Counseling, members of the Armed forces to disobey lawful orders. The President of the United States is the Commander in Chief not these 6 politicians who favor open borders and unlawful acts that are carried out against the United States of America. These 6 traitors are calling on the armed forces to start a coup against the chain of command because they do not like a political stance by the President to enforce the laws of this great nation. All 6 of these people should be arrested and stand trial for treason and violating their oath. When elected officials who have authority over the military tell service members to brace for “unlawful orders,” it crosses a legal line. Federal law is clear. 18 U.S.C. 2387 prohibits influencing or undermining the loyalty, morale, or discipline of the armed forces. President Trump has not issued a single unlawful order. They cannot name one. So putting out a video like that only creates doubt inside the ranks, and that is the last place you want confusion or instability. Members of Congress and Senators do not get to hide behind free speech while weakening the chain of command. Their positions come with responsibility. What they did was not about democracy. It was politics aimed at the military, and it crossed a line the Founders warned about.
