He's extremely generous with hard pressed taxpayers money. This largesse is of course on top of the extra funding he'll be organising to ramp up our military spending in service of the EU's military capability and the enormous influx of asylum seekers all rolling up to sup at the trough. Thankfully Ireland has absolutely no problems here that need extra funding. The health service, CAMHS for example, carers and other wage demands with a rising cost of living, all the extra Gardai we have on the streets of our towns and villages due to crime infestation etc. everything is peachy Paschal.

Russian leadership knows that dignified peace is possible. They know that occupation cannot be legitimized. They know that the longer the war continues, the harder it becomes to deal with its consequences. Russia must choose peace. The tools to achieve this exist. I thank everyone who helps. I thank every member of our Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine who are fighting for our state, who are working for its defense and ensuring precision. Glory to Ukraine!

And in order to have such a long-standing peace for Ukraine and for the whole continent, we do need the security guarantees. And the first one is clearly a credible Ukrainian army for the years and decades to come. And the second one is our own commitments, all of us. You can be sure that Europeans are very lucid about the fact that they have their fair share in the security guarantees for Ukraine, but their own security is clearly at stake in this situation.
