What an Apple Store looked like in 2005

It was 2006, I installed Windows Vista on my PC, immediately regretted it, went down to the Apple Store and bought the Black MacBook when it first released. Been using Mac ever since. Apple really needs to bring the old store vibe back…

Still basically looks this way

Yes, I attended the launch of OS X, Panther & Jaguar... fun times! We all lined up, they handed out freebies like Apple lanyards & balls, & even little donuts and faux champagne. Knox store in Dallas. Great times ;)

It was different people kinda new it was a more state of the art version of Microsoft, and the Microsoft touch screen internet capable pda became the blueprint for the iPhone, and apple version of the Microsoft pda(so many different version of it at the time):

i remember the staff being genuine and knowledgeable. now it’s….different

I remember

This era of technology was something special 😅

Back when getting an iMac seemed like I was wishing for a car or something like that lmfaooo now you can get an iMac from OfferUp for less than 2 hundred dollars in great condition

Can’t say it’s inherently better other than the rise of social media. But the product-line is way les ecocentric

🤓🖥️🕵️💻

I feel nostalgic because of this video's background sound more than watching this old Apple Store clip itself.

Yep

Back then apple was the last thing on my mind when I thought about technology, I didn't really start caring about apple until around 2011 and only because of my sister who has already become a fan

looks deranged now

Apakah ini produk pertama kali ? @grok

Empty and all to myself. Just how I liked it.

Old school panels 🥲

The 2005 Apple Store was a temple of tactile discovery. We've moved from the sensory experience of 'holding' the future to the frictionless efficiency of digital fulfillment. Something poetic was lost in that transition. 💻🍎

Just looked genuine.

It looks better now lol

I think we need the iPod again! I’d buy one
