If you're both working then the responsibility is split. We're both tired. If one person works and the other doesn't then whoever is home takes care of the house. It's really that simple.

I don’t get why some men think they can’t help wash dishes, help with their OWN KIDS,help cook food,OR PICK UP THEIR OWN DIRTY LAUNDRY!?This is where 50/50 come into can’t be that hard!

if they both work the same hours i think the guy offloading everything at home on her is stupid and lazy. n comparing a rare event like fixing a flat tire to doing all the house chores everyday is stupid too. imo it should be balanced depending on what they both do

She’s right 😂 both husband and wife should do chores if the marriage isn’t a traditional marriage where the woman stays at home while the husband works. In a situation where both husband and wife works yo ass needs to be helping don’t become a burden

He's right if she's NOT working. If she's working full time then all that home shit has to be split between them. It's really not that hard to figure out.

The definition of breadwinner: a person who earns money to support a family. They BOTH work to earn money for the family, ergo he is not THE breadwinner, he's one of 2.....that's half of a team! He's just a lazy child that got married so he had a mommy to take care of him!

Honestly, the woman is right. All the people in the family should do chores like - youngest kid will do ___. Oldest one will ___. Middle one will ___. Wife will ___. And lastly husband will ___ ( I marked works as '_' bcs idk wht the works are but every in the family should do.

He gave the wrong reply. Dishes, maintain the lawn & the outside of the home, fixing shit around the house, helping out when the wife is experiencing burn out, taking out the trash, keeping up with maintenance on the car… like wtf lol

It was great when I got divorced I still had to work full time pay all the bills be a full time parent & do all of the house jobs like I did before I just didn’t have to pick up after him & get treated like a servant Life was much easier Never had a penny from him before or after

There are no roles in a real relationship. You do anything to upkeep shit, this shouldn’t be a debate. Relationships with roles end up like this💀

Nah utter BS. The man needs to pull his weight. Also, not ok to throw the higher salary is her face and use that as an excuse for being lazy. If you're both at work then split the housework fairly.

Profilbild von Noni

I think we should stop using the term “bread winner” so loosely. Just making more than her sure, but are you making BANK? Is your bread stale or are we actually comfortable and winning in this economy? Bread winners need to be FIGURES ahead to be bragging like this😒

If both are working, chores should be shared. If he expects you to do more because he has a better salary, he better hire someone to take care of his part.

It should be evenly split at that point, both of them can rest, both of them can clean etc. my dad used to be a cab driver and make more than my mom since he had everyday clients but he still used to be home more so he would take the initiative to clean and buy a case of beer for

A man's duty is to work and the woman is to take care of the home, so if the woman can't do that then she should not be at home right(she should be single and she would still have to do all that homework for herself) 🤣

The replies to this are incredible , we haven’t evolved at all. People know the cost of everything & the value of nothing. Running a home is a 24/7 job & should never be the single responsibility of 1 if 2 or more live there. A nurse may earn less than a banker but their value?

In 2025 is this really a problem? I haven’t been to a household yet where the husband gets to just sit around. Now what I do see is that they often aren’t acknowledged for their contributions to the household

If he's the "bread winner" then the wife should just be a homemaker as it used to be!
