What began as an aircraft with an engine problem quickly turned into a full emergency evacuation after an American Airlines landed and No. 2 engine area caught fire. The evacuation unfolded in two striking ways. In the first video, passengers rush out through a deployed emergency slide, sliding down... to the ground and moving away from the aircraft as smoke fills the area. In the second, another group can be seen standing on the wing after escaping the cabin, waiting to be brought safely to the ground as emergency crews responded. I can Imagine the fear and adrenaline the passengers felt standing on the wing with smoke rising around them. The incident happened at Denver International Airport on March 13, 2025.
