What began as an aircraft with an engine problem quickly turned into a full emergency evacuation after an American Airlines landed and No. 2 engine area caught fire. The evacuation unfolded in two striking ways. In the first video, passengers rush out through a deployed emergency slide, sliding down... to the ground and moving away from the aircraft as smoke fills the area. In the second, another group can be seen standing on the wing after escaping the cabin, waiting to be brought safely to the ground as emergency crews responded. I can Imagine the fear and adrenaline the passengers felt standing on the wing with smoke rising around them. The incident happened at Denver International Airport on March 13, 2025. Despite the fire and chaotic evacuation, all the passengers and crew members managed to get out of the aircraft safely.show more

Don't forget all your hand baggage while your fellow passengers burn.

Every friggin one of thise assholes put both theirs and their fellow passenger’s lives at risk. Not one of them came down that slide empty handed, expressly ignoring pre-flight safety instructions. I hate people like these so damned much.

So much for leaving personal belongings and bags in the event of an evac. Must keep the duty free stuff.

Look at all of those stupid passengers who insist on taking their cabin baggage with them. Lucky no one was injured or even died because of their actions! 😡

⚡️A plane with passengers on board caught fire in Brazil In Brazil, an Airbus A320 operated by LATAM caught fire right on the runway. The aircraft was preparing for takeoff when the cabin suddenly filled with smoke, and passengers saw flames under the wing through the windows. An emergency evacuation of all 180 people began immediately. Passengers slid down the inflatable ramps and ran across the tarmac. No injuries have been reported so far, but the situation was extremely dangerous — a fire on a fully loaded aircraft usually ends in tragedy, and only the crew’s quick reaction prevented a disaster.
