What could have caused our Universe to exist? Evolution does not explain this. Atheism can't be right. If every material effect we see has a cause, and the Universe is material, then what caused it to exist?

Either “it just exists & we don’t know why” is a good enough answer or it is not - but that is equally true for the universe & your purported creator of it. Adding a god to the mix makes the question *more* difficult, because you now have more “stuff” to explain.

What is the nature of an existence that is experienced entirely outside of time itself? Can a single decision that is made in a state of timelessness simultaneously affect EVERY point in time and space? Groundbreaking reconciliation of creationism with natural science.

Hilarious. Science debunks your primitive faith in Sky Daddy, so you desperately try to argue with it. You, and your medieval beliefs are blocked.

This argues for an infinity of causes : for something to exist or have a material effect it must have a cause. If one explanation is God, your argument requires a cause for the existence of this God which results in an infinity of God's. Evolution & atheism are not relevant.

Well then if everything has a cause and a god created our universe ...then what created this god?? Hmmm....looks like infinite regression

This is moronic. Evolution makes no claim about the creation of the universe. Neither does atheism.

If something caused the Universe to exist, what made that something exist? Religion has no answers.

You are SO FUCKING THICK!! If any one of the 5,000 gods that humanity has invented were real, people as moronic as you wouldn’t exist.

According to quantum physics, there's no such thing as cause and effect at the fundamental level. There is only probability.

“Do You Support Israel’s Right to Exist?” Mehdi Hasan FIRES BACK Mehdi Hasan: I've been debating hardcore Zionists, Israeli supporters of Israel, for years. And the conversation always comes back to one talking point: “Do you, or do you not support Israel’s right to exist?” If you don't, you're an extremist, you're an anti-Semite, you want to wipe Israel and millions of Israeli Jews off the map. But you don't have to concede on this point. It's a bullshit argument. Number one: Right to exist where? Israel is the only country in the world that refuses to define its borders. So if you want me to recognize Israel's right to exist, does that extend into Gaza, the West Bank, the Golan Heights, East Jerusalem all considered illegally occupied territory under international law? So, right to exist where? Number two: What is this right to exist? Where does it come from? States don't have a right to exist. People, individuals have a right to exist. Human beings have that right. Not states, not countries. The USSR broke up into Russia and 14 other states. Yugoslavia broke up. Czechoslovakia split into Slovakia and the Czech Republic. What happened to their “right to exist”? People have rights, not states. And number three: If there is a right to exist, does Palestine have a right to exist? Israel exists. It's a country with sovereignty, it's on the map. The idea that in a world where Israel is genociding the Palestinians in Gaza, ethnically cleansing them in the West Bank, and blocking their legal right to return the idea that Israel's right to exist is the one we should be concerned about, and not Palestine's, is both ridiculous and, let's be honest, racist.

Exploring big questions about the universe is crucial for developing critical thinking and rationality. The Importance of Big Questions - Zafar Mirzo Zafar Mirzo Quote 1. Raising all sorts of interesting and big questions about the boundaries and mysteries of the universe and contemplating them is very important, for only such reflections guarantee the development of the ability to think critically, logically, and rationally. Quote 2. The ultimate questions about our world: Why does it exist? In what way does it exist? Does it have a purpose? Could it have not existed at all? Could reality be such that no intelligent being would have appeared? Why does it have the ability to give birth to intelligence? Why is the world the way it is? Why is it so whimsical? What is its structure? Is it finite or infinite? Has it always existed or does it have a beginning? Does it have a prime cause? What lies beyond its limits? Is it eternally evolving or destined to decline in the future? Can intelligent beings live forever? Is the world knowable or not? Quote 3. The more rational and active spirituality is, the more authentic and fruitful it is. Quote 4. For spirituality to be capable of maximum productivity, it must have a comprehensive rational basis. Quote 5. Before denying scientific knowledge about the origin of the human being, first investigate how these facts were collected and study them to understand what they convey.
