Simple facts. CFL teams are picking up college players being cut from NFL teams. Meanwhile, 80%++++ of that college team is never even getting a tryout.

When the Riders were on a down slide a few years ago, my father in law would say the U of S Huskies could beat them and he was serious. There’s no way on gods green earth the Huskies would even score a point! It’s mean against boys!

The other factor is experience. Many of the players on CFL and NFL rosters have as much as a decade of playing professional football.

Agreed. I think some historical FBS teams would be competitive - 2022 Georgia, 2019 LSU - but pro teams will come out on top.

Facts Power 4 College football is more closely equivalent to AA minor league baseball. Perhaps a tad lower and closer to A ball. 23% of AA players get a taste of the majors whereas only 7% of major college players see time in the NFL.

It's simple math. There are 266 division 1 college teams and 32 NFL teams and 9 CFL teams.

I’m sure there would probably be zero chance but I would love to see if the best cfl team could beat the worst nfl team each year

I played college football in Canada , I agree with Chris The Americans in the CFL were all stars in their respective leagues Plus they are grown men vs young adults

Every week as I watch the Riders, I'm sincerely in awe of how easy the guys make these complex plays look, especially Trevor Harris + his target or Milligan Jr. The other teams have their own wow moments too. So yeah, a pro team with yrs of exp will easily beat college players.
