The best President this country has ever had.

This guy is the reason why we own shops in those arcades though M7 is fighting us. If any of you has ever visited Kenya can testify dat 90% businesses in Nairobi are owned by Foreigners. Somalis, Chinese, Indians. The city is highly developed but Kenyan natives poor, am very sure

By the narration of my father, Indians were already controlling all cash crop growing and trading in Nsiika in Buhweju. Now those who may know how deep that was into the livelihood of Ugandans can relate. By his count, if they stayed here, he is 100% sure him and his agemates would never have gone to school and later have a descent job. The best would have been labour for Indians as our women laboured in the Indian homes as maids. Few will admit it, but with all his flows, Amin is the reason we can talk of Uganda

There’s a lot of misinformation about us because we don’t write our own history or books. I wish Amin had written a book/s at least 4-6 for people to read and understand. Europeans wrote history for us and blamed everything on us.

The major problem we have as black race is simply because our enemies and namesis writes our history. So it's UpTo you (the reader) to search for different sources for Truth. Have you ever wondered why Hitler is demonized but not Leopold?

Amin was so wise

Seems well intentioned. However, I don't agree with the methodology. There are many Ugandan traders in South Sudan and a sudden government takeover of their businesses would be concerning. A more prudent approach could involve imposing heavy taxes on foreign businesses while providing tax holidays to local enterprises to encourage their growth, naturally discouraging foreign investment.

He's right about banking money. Well make research on the owners of ARJAY textiles you'll find out that every Monday they send money from Uganda back to India. The so-called investors aren't investors!

President Amin never set out to sell Uganda to himself and his family through fictitious foreign investment projects. He evidently was well intentioned when acting for the country and wasn't like the sharks that are in charge today.

110% for telling off pompous imperialists. Some home truths… 0% for his tolerance of Ugandans brave enough to tell him and his gov’t off. Though charming, Amin brooked no oppostion. Too paranoid. Went as far as banning Ugandans from using the title ‘President’. There would be no Rotary Club president, no football or golf club president etc. Uganda had only one President - Idi Amin.🤷🏽♀️ If Twitter/X existed during his rule, without doubt, ALL opponents (real or imaginary) would be dead or in exile! Running of the economy? Had some brilliant ideas but woefully lacked discipline. He’d hire the best Ugandan brains, only to fire them en masse, labeling them zionists (sometimes kill some of them) and then recruit incompetents from Bombo. The economy backslid. Inflation was at 200%. ‘Essential commodities’ - sugar, salt, soap etc - became scarce. Black market/magendo activity became order of the day… Let’s not be taken in by 2-min video clips of the guy!
