Here's what I think, not that it matters to most. God promised Abraham to bless the nations of the world through his descendants. A lot of Christians interrpret this to refer to Messiah, Jesus. That is probably true, but I think it's more than that. A Jew invented the ballpoint pen. A Jew invented blue jeans. A Jew measured the speed of light. A Jew gave us the aspirin, the defibrillator, etc. To claim the Jews HAVEN'T blessed the world is just ignorance. I also believe in the warning Ezekiel gave back in the late 500's BC when he wrote of a prophecy depicting the day that Israel would be attacked by 5 nations while finally enjoying peace after a period of war. The New Living Translation specifically talks about the mindset of the people who will attack Israel. God says they will think to themselves, "The Jews think that they are the center of the world" (Ezekiel 38) That rings so true in today's world Michael. I'm a big fan of yours, I deeply respect you.
