Six months ago Ethereum was almost $5,000. Today it's under $2,000. When I put that to Tom Lee in Paris, his response was: "Has anything really changed?" Tom Lee (Thomas (Tom) Lee (not drummer) FundstratDirect.com) is one of Wall Street's most-followed forecasters. While the market wrote Ethereum off, he made the case to me that it's one of the most mispriced assets in the world right now. His framing stuck with me. Gold is worth ~$22 trillion. The stock market over $100 trillion. Real estate ~$300 trillion. And to make those assets composable and move them on-chain, he argues, you run them on Ethereum, which sits at a fraction of that. "If Ethereum is at 300 billion, it's grossly undervalued." We cover: - Why he calls this "crypto spring", fundamentals stronger than ever while price lags - Why tokenization is "not even a question," and what happens when Wall Street actually moves on-chain - Why AI agents carrying wallets and making payments is, in his words, "pretty close to 100%" within three years - Why he can see Ethereum as a 1, 2, or even $5 trillion network "in the next few years" - What most investors are missing at exactly the wrong moment That's his call, not mine, but it's one of the clearest bull cases I've heard on why the biggest move may still be ahead. Full conversation is live. 👇 Is Ethereum the most undervalued asset in crypto right now?

Tom Lee: Why Ethereum Could Become a $5 Trillion Network On July 7, 2026, Tom Lee Thomas (Tom) Lee (not drummer) FundstratDirect.com stated in an interview with the New Era Finance Podcast that at its current valuation of around $300 billion, Ethereum is grossly undervalued. As traditional assets like stocks and real estate gradually become composable, monetized, and digitized, running on Ethereum and other blockchains, he believes Ethereum could easily become a $1 trillion to $5 trillion network in the next few years. Regarding how Ethereum captures value, Tom Lee compared it to land; if everything happens on Ethereum, then Ethereum is equivalent to the land of the digital world, making it the core asset that should appreciate over time.

Fundstrat's Tom Lee: "Since the end of June, #Ethereum has outperformed memory stocks by 72 percentage points. People have lost 40% in memory and made almost 30% in Ethereum." "Robinhood might make a billion a year from this chain that they just launched. I think every Wall Street firm is watching what Robinhood did and realizing, there's a lot of money to be made tokenizing assets." #crypto

Tom Lee predicts $100k Ethereum says *THIS* is the #1 mistake he sees new $ETH holders making: "Ethereum's price is not about what's happening today. It's the future...Invest in that supercycle...I think what people get wrong is... Ethereum... It's still got a $100,000 price in the future."

TOM LEE: WHAT WOULD MAKE HIM A BEAR ON ETHEREUM Asked what would break his thesis, he laid out how BitMine is built to ride out crypto winter into spring: - A conservative capital structure with a cash position of about $600 million - 80% of its Ethereum is staked, generating over $250 million a year in staking rewards - Several hundred million in free cash flow funding selective bets, including MrBeast and 8Co

TOM LEE: ETHEREUM SHOULD KEEP OUTPERFORMING BITCOIN “I think the ratio between Ethereum to Bitcoin should continue to rise. At a minimum it should go back to its old high of 0.08.” Tom Thomas (Tom) Lee (not drummer) FundstratDirect.com believes the next five years of crypto will increasingly revolve around: 🔹 Tokenization 🔹 Agentic AI 🔹 Traditional finance moving onchain And he thinks much, potentially most, of that activity will happen on Ethereum. Bitcoin remains his digital gold play. But Ethereum is where he sees the next major wave of financial infrastructure being built. $ETH $BMNR

TOM LEE: SENTIMENT IS ROCK BOTTOM Tom Lee says crypto sentiment is about as bad as it gets right now. $ETH is down ~40% in just the last 10 days. But he’s seen this before, the same “is crypto even viable?” talk showed up after FTX in Nov 2022. One stat he keeps coming back to: over the last 8 years, Ethereum has seen 7 drawdowns of 60%+ -- and every single one snapped back in a V-shaped recovery. Crypto is volatile by nature, but when it finally bottoms, it usually moves fast. If this really is a bottoming zone, history says the bounce doesn’t take long. ⚡

🔥TOM LEE: "I'm still quite bullish on Bitcoin" but says BitMine "wanted to accumulate Ethereum." He says he holds MicroStrategy for Bitcoin exposure but built BitMine's treasury around Ethereum because the capital structure was simpler. "BitMine is the largest Ethereum treasury and the largest holder of Ethereum in the world with almost 5.78 MILLION ETH."

Tom Lee: Ethereum Will Penalize Impatient Investors On July 7, 2026, Tom Lee Thomas (Tom) Lee (not drummer) FundstratDirect.com stated on the New Era Finance Podcast that the recent lag in the crypto market is primarily due to the aftermath of deleveraging, with capital flowing toward yield-bearing sectors. When discussing how to maintain conviction during the pullback of assets like Ethereum, he noted that the fundamentals remain unchanged. Citing Nvidia's $2 trillion surge in three months after a long consolidation at $160, Tom Lee expressed that both the stock and crypto markets will ultimately penalize impatient investors, and those who cannot hold on are the ones who actually lose.
